Minoxidil didn’t do anything for me I felt. But finasteride for sure thickens and strengthens existing hair. I saw a very noticeable changes for sure

What about minoxidil and 0.1 % topical finasteride?
@yhrfeyxm3 жыл бұрын
@@ThePrashanth66 mate you can gihw Thag a go but remember your going to have to stay on it for a long time to see if it works. In my experience I was on minoxidil for a long time before I got onto fineateride. I noticed absolutely no difference except for noticeable thickening on the crown area which is where even Rogaine claims it works. So I decided to quit minoxidil and then a year later got on fineateride. It works really well after like six months your hair will feel thicker and stronger. Just overall healthier. Id suggest following the hairloss channel on KZbin and seeing their tips on hairloss. Good luck

@@yhrfeyxm yes oral finasteride results are good. But even doctors advise not to take the tablet when trying to make partner pregnant.

How old are you? Any ED? I used finasteride years ago and no ED. I'm back on it with minoxodil, all topical and while I don't have ED, my drive is down.

Low dose Topical fin gave me sides and doesn’t address the increase in testosterone
@TheJere18003 жыл бұрын
You should take a look at some anti androgens such as RU58841 or CB 03 01. Altought those are experimentals compounds, they are a good way to treat the raise of T induced by using fin

@@TheJere1800 yea had RU but sent it back...too risky if it goes systemic...if low dose fin (.02) has sides, then RU will problem have some as it is stronger...I am looking into CB but I do not know how to mix it

Dutasteride is basically finasteride but stronger. It’s a type of finasteride
@alidaud2583 жыл бұрын
Dutasteride works on both Type 1 and type 2 DHT blocking so generally it blocks 90 something percent of dht in the hair

Hi. I have been using minoxidil for 3 weeks now but I have been using much higher doses than recommended by a doctor around 3ml twice a day. If I reduce it to 1ml twice a day will it Make a difference
@Hairguard3 жыл бұрын
It's important to follow doctor's instructions. Applying too much minoxidil increases chances of adverse reactions without real hair benefit.

Can women use finasteride
@elliotnicklinmusic Жыл бұрын
Generally no, as it’s hormonal it is troublesome for women in certain doses, and pregnant women are strongly discouraged from even touching/handling finasteride! Doctor consultation always needed.

It's funny how u guys are doctors and give shitty advice on hairloss even though you don't know what's going on what causes it too.
@karma_97_ Жыл бұрын
I know what causes it. Prolonged use of (cell) phones , excessive consumption of sugar plus fast food, excessive semen ejaculation, excessive stress and anxiety excessive hat usage, excessive alcohol and smoking. Combination of all these things cause hormonal imbalances which cause the immune system to attack itself (autoimmune disease) . In order to fix this problem, one must fix all of these issues, which in today's world is almost impossible to the majority of the population, now you see why it is extremely hard for a person to beat this problem. This is the reality of why MPB or any other hair condition occurs, not the BS genetic reason that they have programmed the vast majority of the public to believe.
