This was encouraging! "take action on things that you fear", and "you have to take action to build confidence," I've never heard confidence defined in this way. People often have a difficult time describing "confidence".

The apostle Paul, as a Jew, had many reasons to have confidence in the flesh but he dismissed them one by one and trusted only in Jesus Christ for his righteousness. To have true confidence we must have true faith in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit zealously following the apostle Paul who said: "For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh."
