Once I even asked my step-grandson when he was only 6, "Where does the sun go at night?" since he was playing with a flashlight and pretending the beam was the rising sun on a wall. After a few seconds of thought he pointed down and ran his finger across the floor. Hi Wally one thing I don't understand. What's so special about a 24h Sun. I mean it's not like that a 22h Sun in the southern hemisphere is any less a problem for the Flat Earth. The more you move north from the south pole, the shorter the days become and that makes no sense on a Flat Earth (since sunset is caused by distance, the more you move north the longer the days should be on the Flat Earth, since you get closer to the Sun). Actually, the length of the day is a function of the latitude, on both hemispheres, and it's perfectly symmetrical if you account for the seasons (i.e. it's identical 6 months apart). So a 17:30 hours Sun is also the "final experiment", because it's the same at the tip of South America or northern England - given the same latitude angle. Such symmetry is impossible on a Flat Earth.

Been checking for a comment pointing this out. You need to refer to them as the June solstice and the December solstice to be clear what you are referring to. Since seasons and the type and number a location has depend on what part of the earth you are referring to winter and summer are imprecise. Some places have wet and dry seasons only. Some have no seasons. Christmas in Australia is not held in winter. So Dubay saying you cannot see the 24 hour sun in Antarctica in winter is correct if you mean the southern hemisphere winter in December.
