My Wsar 10/63 will always have a special place in my heart. It was my first AK and first "fighting type rifle". It's just got simple wood furniture on it and a stock with trench art that I bought from Rifle Dynamics a few years ago. It's a beater but always works. After that would be my Vepr 12. That thing has always put a smile on my face and anyone who has ever shot it. I think AR-15s are more ergonomic and parts more readily available here in the states but I will always gravitate towards an AK just out of familiarity. It's just like an old friend.

I picked up a WBP Jack earlier this month as soon as I saw they had a restock on Atlantic Firearms (they're gone again already). It's a beautiful rifle, I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but just the look and feel of it seems very high quality for the price. I have no doubt it'll work great, $1,200 well spent.

I had brought a m90 five months ago because I was tired of waiting for the WBP and FB to get restock. Literally a week after I brought the gun, Atlantic has the Jack in stock. 😢 Lucky, I was able to get the FB Beryl in 5.56. One of my goals in life is to obtain the Polish AKs beside Pionners lol

Mine are #5=Vepr 12 #4= Arsenal Sam7 #3= Zpap m92 #2= Zpap m70 and the # 1 UNDEFEATED Saiga Ak type103 conversion. My Sam 7 may be #1 next year, but it has a lot more proving to do. It's my second one so far in the Arsenal milled series and my first one sucked. This one zeroed out way high above the horns and almost all the way left, but some ken sight adjustable fiber optics or a red dot will fix that. It shoots very small groups for an AK, even a milled one. I gotta say though--my Zastava's are AWESOME guns. They probably get beat on the most, and IMHO they might be the best bang for buck in the 7.62 x 39 camp currently in my opinion. My M 70 is close to 3000+ rds.(mostly suppressed) and still fine despite all the B.S about soft receivers and rivets online. The new Serbian made guns are top notch. I need some polish guns in my future......hopefully soon. I've haven't been lucky/responsible enough to snag one yet....😄

I got the zastava zpapm70 glad to see fox had it on there I got the kp9 the wbp jack they have all been fun I run my kr103 sidefolder the hardest I think for sure but have been looking into one of the milled mini Jack's I picked up a little ak105 from psa I've run pretty hard and so far it's been holding up nice but like Misha said the kp9 or kr9 just eat everything u feed them and are just really fun to shoot

My top 5 Ak 5.pioneer arms sporter 7.62×39 4.psak gf3 moekov gray furniture 7.62×39 3. Century Arms 9mm AK 2.Zastava zpap m90 5.56mm 1. Century Arms Cugir Sar-1 7.62×39mm Now i only own 5 and most are budget tier but they are all great firearms. Well except the pioneer and its surprisingly good for what it is having cast parts. But i cant wait to add more to my collection. I think i want a chinese next. 3.

I'm about to start my first AK with a sheet metal receiver and I want to use all wbp parts. Not bad pricing and their very interesting solutions for modern mounting of optics and force multipliers. I've done a couple of rewelds. A Galil SAR and a yugo m64 and now I want to do something that's more able to be tacticool.

So many oddball aks not seen elsewhere hard to say whats my favorite but the radom at the end is nice just because of the config. Recently brought the FB Berly and the finish was disappointing for the price. I got over it because I mainly like it because of the pedigree. The WBP Jack finish looks amazing. Getting one in the next 8 months lol. I’m too broke and need the money for school.

Take a look at Attero mounts. They add almost no weight and no bulk compared to side rail mounts. Pretty sure Mishaco has a video on it.

Also not terribly into the details of various cartridge loadings, like the different types of 5.56 or 9mm defensive loads. Basically, i enjoy elements with history behind them. And a bit into unique engineering too.

@@misha5670 Yeah, that also makes sense. Optics can be very fun, as I'm sure you know, and that does kinda suck. I've recently gotten into the different military cartridge loads entirely because of the British, as some of their loads have been so weak as to meaningfully change history. The 7.62 NATO variation they made was so soft shooting that it had virtually identical performance to the final version of .280 British. Silly things like that are, well, silly. I love em. Projectile design is much less fun, and almost nobody nerds into it. You're not missing a ton, it's a slog to find good ammo designs. But I can tell why you love AKs and FALs and such more than, like, an HK416. There's lots of little things in these guns which are just lovely mechanically. I love the Holy Shelf in an AK cam path, that prevents it from rotating until the bump rivet/ramp knocks it out. Just the greatest, subtlest little design feature. A major thing the AR lacks, and, of course, an AK wouldn't work at all without it.
