Generally people with antisocial personality disorders behave out of the norm and then rationalize that the backslash their douchy behaviour generates comes from the envy of others (just coping by projecting their own state of mind on to others). Dont let the negative talk play on your mind, you are the best content creator in this space because of everything i said, accidents happen and you are living your best life and helping others live theirs. once in a while there is a little bit of ego i wont lie lol. but its pretty rare, and usually the passenger is egging him on to try and keep up with someone. but yeah, 99% of the time hes very professional and not even really pushing that hard
@jinx200013 ай бұрын
@@Scotty-vs4lf that’s fair, I think it’s easy to conflate ego with just pushing though. For example when he was driving the Ioniq 5N and there was the same car ahead of him he would be pushing to keep up knowing the cars should be evenly matched but his lack of ego would prevent him from pushing too far, it’s clear he has a very good understanding of the limitations of the car and if the car cant quite keep up he won’t go over the edge to try and make it happen he just accepts that is how it is, many would let ego take over and simply crash trying to keep up with the car ahead when they likely do not have the same skill behind the wheel. But yeh I can appreciate you may feel like ego comes into it now and then, he is a human being and even he admits at times he leaves little gap for mistakes but on the whole we agree he is extremely professional and looks after his passengers and self, just can’t believe a freak accident happens and anybody would suggest he drives like an idiot lol unbelievable.

Long story short (I often said that in the last few days on FB aswell): It’s a racetrack. It’s made to drive fast, it’s made to drive on the limit. So if you go to the limit, there is no room for failure. If no one does something stupid, and as a participant of 24H and everythin we see every day in your content, you’re not known for stupid action. So if there’s a technical failure, while beein on the limit, things like that happen. Everyone who passes the gates at Döttinger Höhe should keep that in mind - it is the green hell, it is the most dangerous proofed track to drive on in this world - and you may never end your lap. There’s no one to blame and we can all be glad you (and everyone who’s driving there, which includes me) came back home after that, just whipping off some dust from your shoulder. 🙏

And it always will be. The fact that this is the worst result we've seen so far is amazing. And anybody who watches Le Mans this weekend knows that crashing is part of the deal. Not "someone MIGHT crash", but "someone WILL crash". The only certainty in racing is that the track will always bite you sooner or later. This is part of racing. Everybody has their day, sooner or later. Misha just had his. Everybody saying otherwise has never had their asshole pucker while they go through a sweeper at 160mph.

People here forget that even the most seasoned of drivers like Niki Lauda or Sabine Schmitz crashed in the Nurburgring. Anyone who drives this track constantly will experience crash a few times. You'd be playing Russian Roulette every time you enter the Nordschliefe or do anything motorsports related. You just gotta hate those idiots who talk smack when they couldn't do 100 laps or 1000 laps per year like Misha or Sabine.

Not only you are a great driver, you are great at explaining the good the bad and the ugly of driving various cars at Nurburg. Most incidents in life are inevitable and its how you find and apply corrective actions to avoid a repeat and to bring awareness to others. Appreciate the content 👍

@nynms2033 ай бұрын
Not that corner. The accident occured after Foxhole (the long highspeed downhill then briefly uphill section that swings into the left hander where you could previously take the curb). Car went straight on after the left hander, into the outer barriers of the upcoming medium speed right turn because of a brake failure/pedal went stiff.
@tiagoneves80723 ай бұрын
@@nynms203 I know and what I'm trying to say is that already in this first corner, the car seems to go straight. Perhaps already showing that something was wrong with the brakes?

Of course there is nothing in your driving there that would specifically result in a crash situation. But as you would know ABS freeze is not a driver fault, it's a result of a ABS system operating outside it's parameters. Porsche had this problem years ago which in one instance caused a crash in New Zealand. The problem has been fixed for a while now and there are aftermarket systems available, Bosch motorsports for one.

Interesting how BMW recently had a global recall for "Integrated Braking System" fault. "The issue with the integrated braking system, which uses an electric actuator to maintain consistent brake pressure, can result in the need for increased pedal force during braking. It also has the potential to disable critical brake control functions like ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and DSC (Dynamic Stability Control)."

Whiney, moaning, jealous haters will - whine, moan, be jealous and hate. That's all they have. Just smile and wave. Car and driver looked well within their limits - despite some element of the brake or stability system wrecking the day I would take heart in every other element doing their part to keep the driver and passenger save.
