Its because the fuel get moving in the tank, so you get erroneous reading.

@@digofabu correct! the sending units in mk2/3 setups are VERY sensitive and can give really wonky readings from just sitting on a slight incline. ive owned a dozen of them, every single one (including brand new pumps) gave strange readings a lot

@@ggbear1043 yeah it's definitely aged a lot better than the MK3 or 4, they definitely handle better. The VR6 drove like a yacht compared to the MK2 but it was a spicy MK2.

@@russo381 I drove a MK4 non-turbo GTI for a while, it looked pretty nice as a 3 door but yeah it was SLOW and not remotely sporty in any way. Quite comfortable though.

I got a failsafe on the ecu when i built it (sold it to current chap) that it will limp when certain parameters are hit. Also the speedo does work but they were on the wrong screen, it has a gps can module for speedo. Iat and egt display on the main screen too . Dont know why they never switched it

oh man, I miss my vr turbo, I was in germany from 03-09 and took my vrturbo mk3 jetta (vento) around the ring a few times. I wish i knew about Misha back then. i was at 360hp- 400hp back then. I lived 55minute from the ring and that drive was just as great as experiencing the Nordscheife. Awesome car.

Idk how easy they are to get out of the states but 07k turbo swaps are pretty dope on the rare occasions u see them, much cheaper boost loving I5 platform than the DAZA in the RS3/TTRS. Iron engine tho and not nearly as modern, biggest upside is you can find them for CHEAP in the states.

Even at the end of the lap Misha didn't understand what got hot. it was the intake air charge temperature was too hot. The passenger said two or three times intake air temp. That car must have a huge water meth nozzle. I run water meth on my 2.8l 240Z with a 330cc injector and it'll last 45 minutes to an hour on the track with a 1.5 gallon tank.

The headlight flash isnt a “move out my way im coming through” its a “im closing up fast, im here in case you didnt see me” Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Especially as many many people dont check their mirrors.

When you’re approaching a slower vehicle in your way, the only thing you should do is hovering your foot above the brake pedal, just in case. If the car before you doesn’t move aside, you’re allowed to flash once (German road laws). If there’s no reaction after a not specified amount of time, you can flash again, once. You’re certainly not allowed to approach with the whole fireworks. Why? Because it’s rude and dangerous.

I believe the vr6 went in the mk3, back in the day friends had the golf rally supercaharged, that held the road well👍🇬🇧all the styling that went on, stealing M3 mirrors to fit there cars, putting the rear number plate in the bumper and flattening the hatch ( we called it French backing) 😂with mesh and fibre glass🇬🇧90s was the best

Yes i fitted that coolant bottle but it aint v good as it kept the system airlocked! Had to add my own nipple and top of bottle for return of air otherwise it never ran right
