do you focus on your leg and feet muscles ? or do you only repeat the pattern ?

Of course I don’t repeat the pattern. I focus on my posture, movement (body first/ arms follow), relaxation, awareness in hara, feeling the ground/ feet etc.

@@iamaikidoka that's interesting, I'm not doing Aikido I tryed many yrs ago. But to many problems afterwards with my wrists and shoulders and knees. My knees seem OK. But I have ongoing problems with wrists and shoulders. I've had physio and doing exercises and pilates. I was looking at exercises to warm up before doing stretching or other exercises. Just wondering if this rowing exercise would be good and looking to find out the correct technique

@@fredatlas4396 This is not really related to warming up joints. It's more like related to Qi energy. She is also inviting the universe spirit to her body.

Why are you not changing sides. I have seen people in Japanese videos doing this rowing excerise. But there doesn't appear to be consistency in the technique. Some opening hands when thrusting forward, and some bending the back and others keeping the back straight, hands higher or lower whan pulling ba k fie example. What exactly is the purpose of this exercise, is it purely to warm up or is it to exercise the muscles in the mid, upper back, learn to coordinate arm movements with the rest of the body??

Tu dois descendre encore plus bas ...ton poids doit reposer sur la jambe arrière et tu dois contracté tes fesses et pousser avec avec ta hanche en contractant les abdominaux...et tes bras doivent êtres relâchés pour libérer ton énergie...🙏👍😉
