Still, I can't find any information on the difference between Miss for America Strong, Mrs America, or Mrs AmeriCan, but I know that Mrs America is the preliminary to Mrs World? Idk the whole thing is confusing and there doesn't seem to be anyone that actually has the information and is willing to share?

I love Miss Grand based on the fact that they give their top 10 opportunity to travel and experience lot of fashion shows, media tour and cultural experience. This is UNIQUE to Grand, giving a platform to strengthen their resume which could help their career after Grand.

Living in the US, I honestly think Miss Universe has completely loss its essence, from production to management drama, loss of vision, etc. I see Miss Grand rising and though it does have plenty to have fixed, it truly puts on a show, it honors and celebrates runner ups, has a clear vision , production , etc.

Thanks Dani for the video. I really didn't know anything about Miss Grand, so I found it interesting. I wanted to run a couple things by you though: I believe we have 9 Miss Universe winners including R'Bonney. I also thought the $250,000 was the value of everything the winner gets, not necessarily the year long salary. Unless that has changed with the new owner starting with R'Bonney or in 2020? I watched a video where Paulina Vega stated her salary was $50k for the year. Then I saw another one with Iris Mittenaire saying her salary was a bit over $60k for the year. I figured IMG kept the same standard pay as the Trump era and adjusted for inflation or so. I also noticed that when Ms. Stewart took over Miss USA, the benefits package stated "a six figure salary"... So it would make sense that Miss Universe would be at least six figures and considerably higher. I wonder if that bump in salary pay has something to do with Miss Grand becoming so popular...

I will answer this real quick. MGI is more of a circus pageant. And soon we will see the use of props, oh no, they are being used already. I saw someone wearing a hat on an evening gown competition and some of the girls slipping and falling on swimsuit walks because of walks in the rain and on slippery tiled floors. Soon we will see somersaults, skating, umbrellas, and whatever they come up with.

Another key difference huge difference is Nawatty is the one who chooses the winner who is not chosen on final night precisely and his 4B criteria are what he thinks and wants they are, whereas Miss Universe has a panel of judges and makes it less apparent that there has been any rigging. Oh MGI has judges, but they are just an accessory. Finally, MGI is more of a circus pageant, whereas Miss Universe is classy, elegant and traditional. I love traditions, sorry. Nope, I am not sorry.

Miss Universe was classy, elegant and traditional up to the early 2000s. They had hosts that lend the pageant a level of respectability that is missing today. Today’s hosts just jabbered nonstop about nothing in particular. At least Helen O’Connell told us about the hosting country in depth and the entertainment were from the artists of the host country that perform music and dance unique to them. You actually could learn something. Now I think they insult the audience’s intelligence.

To be as creative and artistic in their performance because of this the HATERS call it a circus. Loved this! When I was in my teens/early 20s, Miss Universe Trump era was everything. Now, I’m more of a Miss Grand girl. I think you summed it up perfectly a few videos ago. It’s theatrical. I know this isn’t a popular opinion but I want to watch pageants to be entertained. Watch beautiful women and get ideas on hair and makeup and style. I want drama and fun and music. When I want serious things, I’ll go find it on my own. I want an escape from life. The politicisation of everything in today’s Miss Universe makes it unbearable to watch for me and I only watch your covering of it. I can. Hi Dani I would like to share about how Anne wants to own Miss Universe. Before JKN company(Anne Company) Anne had sponsored Miss Grand Thailand 2013 but there were problems with the JKN Event (Sponsor Event) JKN was late to pay the performance fee for MGI Organization and JKN dodged to pay it. That made Nawat(MGI Owner) angry and spoke out to the public then Anne got angry and made her want to own MU. Also last year one of the MU staff was Thai and worked as an escort for many years she asked MU to pay here money that were late for many months.

Pageants are more done just beautiful ladies and production it must be a platform for girls to speak for cause they want to advocate. Sorry but MGI is nowhere close to Miss Universe. It could have 100x more followers than MU tomorrow and it still won’t change. It’s just a discount Trump era Miss Universe but with circus-like performances. Meanwhile, Miss Universe continues to set the bar on what a modern pageant is + has such a strong influence on other international pageants. Miss Universe’s legacy is also on a whole other level. Unless MGI dials down the dramatic performances and allows the winner to be strictly chosen by a panel of judges instead of just the owner, it can’t even be considered to be in the same league as MU.

I like to watch all the Grand Slam pageants. Then, I choose whose reign I will follow the entire year. For example, I follow Paulina's reign in 2014, Edymar in 2015, Iris in 2016, Demi-Leigh and Maria Jose in 2017, Vanessa Ponce de Leon in 2018, Zozi in 2019, Andrea in 2020, Chanique in 2021, Karolina in 2022 and now Andrea Aguilera and Sheynnis for 2023. There are 6 Grand Slam pageants. So if you don't like some winners, you can follow the others. You have 6 amazing ladies to choose every year.
