Oh btw, I think you've been really smart staying away from organic stuff (sans fire and smoke), it just doesn't hold up well and is probably the least effective on a modest set up. Stick with the inorganic stuff. Love it

hey sir,can you please help me quick out - is there any chance to fix the interference from an E3D Objekt and seperate Layer ? example: i have an 3D Oject and want to animate a stroke path around the object. when i put the layer over the E3D layer its interferenc and when i put it bottom them it hide some ...i cant go threw the object like real 3D would look like. can you help me fix this ? or is this to much for AE + E3D and i have to go on a 3D Programm like Blender etc. ? would be nice if you can reply this, im over figuring out how to...i study the whole program...love all, 3D forever !

Hi, great tutorial, however I can't get a few simple things to work. Whenever I load the plane into the comp, it's always facing forward and small, in this tutorial when you bring it in it's already up to size and facing sideways, so I have to maneuver the plane into position for the animation, which is ok, but then when I try to create the 2d point for the smoke trail y creates the null element in a different position than the point I selected at the tail of the missile and no matter how much I try to get it right into position I cannot, so from that point on I can't do anything more. Any tips? Thank you!

Okay, i've learned the sky... but, i have big problem.. When i generete the 3D null, it actually spawns away from the point i selected.. if i select "500,500" it spawns at "550,500".. idk what's the problem, also, when i move the camera (not rotatation) the light moves in space... any help, please !

Andrew does tutorials and even though he often does research, sometimes he just goes by feeling. In this case he made a mistake and if you think I'm wrong to correct him, I have no idéa what mindset you have... Like, how do you think a producer would react to an effects shot you delivered when someone in the room say's -'Oh, that's not how a missile behaves'? I know how they react and my tip is to do your research - or you might find yourself working on McDonalds instead of doing VFX.

When you select your jet in the scene folder, you have to switch from material viel (orb shaped button) to mesh view (4 squares kind of button). Then go back to the jet and press the drop down button next to it and you'll find everything
