High marks for the content-free answers; low marks for the transparency of the dodge. The best media trainers teach you how to respond with actual, gritty content, but just not the content that addresses what the journalist asked. A good example of this would be something like, "We received auditory anomalies at four locations and with as many as three different time signatures, though it's important to understand that triangulation efforts have not yet ruled out coordination of these signal tracks to a single event."

Yeah because I read up on the safety mechanisms and in case of electrical failure or emergency, there's a way to manually release the majority of the weight and send the sub straight to the surface AND the weights are connected to the sub with like some type of special material that's designed to break in exactly twenty-four hours and send the sub to the surface no matter what. So the only reason that would fail is if the sub is trapped underneath something that is preventing it from getting to the surface. Did they even make it to the Titanic I wonder? They lost contact a little under three hours into the dive. And doesn't it take like 4 hours to just to send that deep to even get to the Titanic? But what could the sub possibly be trapped under if it isn't a piece of the Titanic?

They are gone. Right after they lost contact on Sunday, and the most plausible explanation is that they imploded. One of the things I have read said that the MTS Marine Technology Society sent OceanGate a letter in March 2018 questioning the safety and integrity of the vessel for this type of use. A quote from their letter where they are speaking about the "Titan" craft taking passengers to the Titanic: "Our apprehension is that the current "experimental" approach adopted by OceanGate could result in negative outcomes (from minor to catastrophic) that would have serious consequences for everyone in the industry".I've also read that scientists are thinking that the carbon fiber developed micro fractures with each dive it made, and the hull was compromised to the point of failure. Unfortunately we will never know.

I refuse to pray for these very stupid people who paid a fortunr to put themselves in big danger just to have some touristic excitment! They signed a document stating they knew there was a danger of death!

@joseluciocorrea1866 Fair enough. Of course, do what u feel is right. I was commenting from the perspective of how their families & loved ones need support. And all those rescue services who are in potential harm, whilst attempting a rescue. Personally, I think no one should be allowed near, and the whole area considered a gravesite. But my point was to offer support to those who need it right now. That's all.

I hope that these men are rescued and returned to their families. The question remains should these unregulated trips be allowed to continue, and should a wreck on which 1500+ souls lost their lives be used as some ghoulish tourist attraction?

@@CugerBrant Jame Camerons sub could probably bring it to the surface because it has robotic arms to latch onto it. his sub is in a museum at this time and would have to be refurbished before making the dive to bring it back to the boat.

@@jesusmylordsaviorking3726 This isn't a game or a film, they are dead. They couldn't even surface the sub in time even if they started this exact second because they need to phase the accent.
