Mission Belle and Dolphin Sportfishing August 11th 2024

Left out of Point Loma Sportfishing for a full day offshore trip on the Mission Belle , once at the bait dock the captain informed us the boat had a mechincal malfunction and the trip was canceled . We purchased the only other open party trip which was out of Fishermans landing on the Dolphin half day leaving at 1pm , Killed dome time with breakfast at Mitch's and soaked some squid in the harbor . Dolphin ended up fishing about 1/2 mile out of the opening of the harbor where we landed Barracuda , Calico bass , Sand Bass , yellowtail , Halibut , Mackerel and some other small top biters . Not a bad day at all even though we were hoping for some offshore Palegic spieces .
