Thanks buddy. Providing work/private life/dog/ etc, etc don’t get in the way I reckon I can push a video out per month. Should take us all nicely into the 2025 riding season by the time it’s finished…maybe. Happy New year and keep riding🤙🏻

Even in the north of Italy "Sauerkraut" is a local dish. At least it was sold to me like this from my Italian colleagues in Milano area 😂 I gave up with a petrol burner 25+ years ago, even is was comfortable to drain petrol from the BMW carb. When the bottle and the burner went on fire I felt it was a bit too dangerous. I'm back to gas bottles since then. About the T7 TFT and ABS deactivation: try the LSK ABS dongle. It's just a button to push and I really like it on my EUR4 model. I'm looking forward to the next episode. I hope your tyres are not fully square when you reach the sea to start the real adventure. Happy new year, happy new trails, Bernd 💙💛🏁🤛🏼

I went out, got an expensive MSR multi fuel stove. It was stinking, dirty and just horrible. It lasted 2 days on a multi week tour. Like you I’m back to gas. I can only imagine using a petrol stove if I ever go on a global year long trip, and that’s not going to happen. My next T7 upgrades are focusing on the standard weight saving measures, battery, exhaust and tail tidy. Considering getting the RTech plastics as well. The dongle will be after that, definitely. I’m done 30,000km on the T7 now and I love it even more now than when it was brand new. Stay safe and keep riding.👍🏼

@@GreenStringThe petrol stove is in my 4x4. It works well below 5°C and above 1.000 m altitude just a bit slower than gas. I have a light battery already and the tail tidy from Rtech. It suits my needs better than the once with too many pieces, washers, bolts and nuts. But due to the new indicator position it's maybe not compatible with a high exhaust. The HP Corse SP-1 is a masterpiece of design and quality and I love it's sound. Acerbis 23L tank is on my wish list for a potential 2025 adventure.

@GreenString 😂 fair play to Jason, for me it was Tayto Sandwich and curry cheese chips in Ireland 😁

Only a pro offroad rider would turn off the abs on that smooth gravel road, outstanding 😂.

It inevitably ends with us demonstrating to the World Wide Web how unpiroficiant we are at riding bikes! I actually had a comment (rant) the other day asking why we don’t take lighter,single cylinder, bikes off road, blah,blah,blah. I genuinely think some people believe we teleport to these off road locations. I had to explain that 98% of the time we are on tarmac travelling at relative high speed. Secondly I have a day job and only have one bike that must multi task as commuter, tourer and off road bike. Sadly we haven’t got a fleet of bikes. Anyway moan over (good start to 2025). Happy new year Neil, and as always, thanks for hanging around this highly polished channel.👍🏼

Great first episode guy's and it looks like this tour will have a few challenges. Always impressed you take those big bikes off road... think i would struggle on a crf300 let alone a fully laiden Africa twin 😂. Ride safe
@GreenString4 күн бұрын
Cheers mate. I don’t think the big bikes are that much of a problem. Rider skill is the problem😂. The thing that get missed a lot (my fault) is in reality we spend 90% of the time on tarmac, crunching the miles, so the big bikes are the best tool for the job. It just means when we go off road it’s way more entertaining…as you’ll see in the fest few videos! Take care mate, stay safe and happy new year.

Great first episode chaps. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Only one request. Camera angle on the first campsite was a little uncomfortable. Could you either reposition the camera tripod, or give Jason some longer shorts. 🥴😁😎. Thank you.

Believe it or not I was trying to colour grade the footage as our legs are, well, offensive, to put it mildly 😂 I decided to leave it. It’s tradition that brits expose themselves on “holiday.”👍🏼

Hi mate, Sorry, I deleted it ages ago. Either way all my routes came from the Morocco book you see me showing near the start of video. Here is the Anazon link : amzn.eu/d/1Inxvvv I hope this helps, the book includes a link to all the Gpx files.
