OMG, this looks like my familys neew 'FAVORITE CHOCOLATE PIE' - Miy daughter in law always asks for a chocolate pie for her birthday, Thanksgiving and of course Christmas. She is a "real" chocola-holic. We live in Texas and they flew to Oregon for Christmas, to see her first grandbaby ( Matthew). So we're having Christmas dinner on New Year's Day. I'm glad so I will have time to find everything I need for your pie. Your pie should be entered in some kind of contest, a big one because without me even tasting it I know you would win. Yay! The Little Pie Company is fantastic. I was looking for a recipe that was closer to chocolate fudge like and this is close. There was a NYC supermarket on the corner of 13th and 7th Ave called Food Emporium. I loved their Mississippi Mud pie at their bakery, I used to live around the corner and it was delish. So much chocolate in one dessert! I am one of those that has never been the biggest fan of chocolate. The tip for using two knives for cutting in butter is one I hadn't heard before. I've seen some other cooking shows where they just use their hands which they then get the ingredients all over their hands and is a waste, in my opinion.

Try sugarless chocolate chips and erythritol as the sugar. They make sugarless brownies and he can have the whipping cream, there is no sugar or carbs in cream. Good luck. 🙏

You might be thinking of Mississippi Mud Cake which has marshmallows. Traditionally, Mississippi Mud Pie does not have marshmallows.
