One day he's gonna have to accept that the Freedom is a PMA just like the Delco's - ie: the permanent magnetic field spins inside the stator core vs the other way around. It amazes me how he's able to keep up a charade like that for as long as he does...do people not google?
@Polaraco9 жыл бұрын
+James Biggar Horman expects people not to google. He's preying on the unsuspecting. Hell I was gullible enough to fall for his bull shit. But it took no time at all to find out he was a fraud. He knows it's a PMA and actually it is. It produces AC. Psst Psst Don't tell him, then he'll be a bit smarter. Well maybe. His whole idea was to make it look different than what he was selling. Gave him an avenue to attack.
@JamesBiggar9 жыл бұрын
+Polaraco Hobby Exactly. Conveniently overlooking the fact that his machines don't spin coils inside of a stationary magnetic field and convert the AC to DC via a commutator - often called a mechanical rectifier - but it's not the same as a bridge rectifier that uses diodes, which is typically installed OUTSIDE of the turbine and close to the batt bank to limit resistance and lower install costs. (of course you know this, but good to clarify for those who don't) A play on words to save face, as you said - just amazes me the lack of fact checking that allows this charade to persist. One day there's going to be tough regulation in this industry just like any other, that will make this shit nearly impossible to get away with without legal repercussions.

You was talking about the power out put. It seems to be a hit or miss. IE my dual I can get 1kw at 30 mph. and others can get crap from it. I have a friend that has a Dual and he cant get what I get with mine and this is like this every were. Some get power some don't The problem there is now QA at that company it goes from one box to another so they never know if it even works, or not.
You want people to see what they are putting out then why didn't you put them both on a drill press at the same rpm to do a comparison? Prove your point not just talk.
@Polaraco8 жыл бұрын
Explain to me how a drill press would make a difference, The objective here was to show the poor quality and lack of thought put into the unit. I have an engineering degree. When you have yours, come talk to me. In the mean time shut up
@crazzylee8 жыл бұрын
Polaraco Hobby you don't need an engineering degree to use common sense especially if and when you're trying to prove something. Your not showing voltage/watt/amps production with both units rotating at the same r.p.m. using a drill press so how is this a comparisons? Use a drill press on your brain since you don't know how to do a proper comparisons of a product. You wanta tell me your the owner of your product and then talk shit to a potential customer is beyond any use of common sense. You sound like a sore loser when it comes to business and is liken to put yourself out of business by the way you talk.

I wish you'd show the Super Liberty rotor designed by Sunborn electric and the rotor of the Yong Fong electric wind turbine to show the similarities in the two!! thanks for showing!!!

+TheBillytheJack2010 It was too cold to go out and press apart that Freedom. Besides, my 40 ton press would probably squash that shaft. I have to return that Freedom POS back to it's owner for a pending law suit.

bought this P.M.G in year 2016 it was failure of producing all in battery cell with 150 mah 12 v battery tested the wind was kicking in winter time and generator didn't even got close to charge the battery full the capacity battery was 14 voltage it produce 10% charge in on day, including charge rate from 11.52 to 12.35 volt in 24 hour spinning wind in blade the problem in this freedom P.M.G is it doesn't create higher watts to kick boost voltage to charge BATTERY FASTER that why it fails.

@closertothetruth92098 жыл бұрын
been a while but watching this again I have to say you were being very fair and practical in this vid, it is obvious which is the better product, and i do own two of the lesser product and being a mechanic i quickly came to the same conclusion on the build quality some time ago in 2014/15 with my duals which at the time were falsely advertised as "100%" USA made and also repeatedly on his rebuttal KZbin's to those who questioned the 100% USA made claim , hind sight is always 20/20 , but it still stings all the same, a tear down would have been good, I've seen the eccentric motion of the rotor in the mws , I think by memory the thermodyne was balanced but you'd need that with such fine tolerances/clearances, I don't own thrermodyne but I'm sure they're a better built product, ps, and that wouldn't be too hard, and I'm being fair and unbiased when i say that , value for money and "HONEST" advertising is all you can ask for, that's my two cents worth.

Thanks for sharing this video to me! Hahahaha, no need to laugh at you, but that shit you bought! Hahahha, I'm laughing at me too! Hey, I took the Missouri generator yesterday to the Electric Motor shop, took my PGM apart, replaced the bearings, painted the coils with a glue to prevent moisture getting into the coils. Made a new spacer Hub for the generator, then mounted the blade hub to it with 3 alien screws! This is what Jeff should have done before he sold it to me! I will make a video update before I get the turbine in the air, and while in the air! The noise, you are describing, it is still there after me rebuilding it, but, the generator spins easier with new bearings..... Keith

+HEMPPUBLISHINGCOM Next thing that will happen is the shaft will bend. They don't use hardened shafts. DOT dictates a 70 Rockwell. They're not even close. Good luck.

I'm not going to say much on that. I was a customer of his, as mentioned in the video. I bought several of the blue ones from him. Very unhappy. The newer unit I showed is made in Vietnam. I am told it's no better. I've seen stories from other people about his other products. The source is questionable as the ratings. As I said it's your money.

My housing is flush, and I wish I had seen this video, before I rebuilt this shit I bought from Jeff, instead of returning it! WTF? You're telling us this crap only produces 135 watts at 35 MPH winds? Oh fck me..... Thanks, but you are only helping others not get robbed! I am going to buy the Thermodyne, and put it on the Missouri Turbine Body, this is why I did not want to return the crap back to him.....
@carlwheeler34038 жыл бұрын
I bought a Freedom PMG a couple of months ago and I have yet to see any output from it. Even with 30 mph winds, the turbine was hauling a$$ but my battery voltage remained at 11.9 volts. I am so disappointed, there advertising is BS. The Freedom PMG is a marketing scam, you will be stung in the wallet just like all the others, if you purchase one of these.

We need power so we bought two freedom 1600 watt wind turbines a cupple weeks ago and they are nice to look at nice features on them but we needed power and now I'm not sure where to go to buy I can't afford to just waste my hard earned money and mwands not only screwed over my wife and I also screwed my two under 4 year olds I just hope a big law suit class action or what ever gets my thousand dollars back maybe just have the thermodyne change the pma pmg what ever you call it to match up the 4 bolt pattern that the mwands use on their 2013 pos and sell that if it works I could tell the second I opened the box and looked at the gap between the roter and stator that I got screwed smh Jeff wtf why don't you sell thees things in New York on the street like the fake watches and sunglasses lol no really I get power for a half a day and have to charge my battery's for 2 days with solar panels plenty of wind last night and it raises the volts but some how put a load and it goes back to dead in seconds Fml
