Trudy, this was a vlog unlike no other. I found it to be very interesting and educational as well. I am a fragrance collector as well as an enthusiast. Ylang Ylang is one of my favorite fragrance notes (ingredients) used in perfumery. They are known for their aromatic and intoxicating smell. I had a faint idea as to where it came from. Today I learned that it actually comes from a tropical tree. Wow. How interesting.

Ylang-ylang, also spelled ilang-ilang, also called perfume tree, (Cananga odorata), South Asian tree of the custard apple family (Annonaceae), in the order Magnoliales. A penetrating but evanescent perfume is distilled from its flowers.
