Great summation of the weird tension between the two. Missy is a more "evilly charming" Master, and that makes her trickier to deal with if you let your guard down. All things considered, Clara didn't handle getting chummy with a top-grade psychopath all that badly, even if Missy tried that dirty trick with the Dalek shell on her. Props to Jenna and Michelle for their acting, it was enjoyable and fun.

look everyone is intitled to there opinion but don't u think that missy would of been better being the rani than the master. I seriously think the BBC have made wrongen there. Shes a fantastic rani next to the late Kate O mara but not being sexist to all the women whovians out there but the master should stay as a fella. yep this is gonna cause a reaction but surely I'm not the only one who thinks this.

+David Taylor Missy's characterisation is entirely wrong for the Rani, popping up with overly elaborate plans in order to get the Doctor's attention has always been the Master's thing. The Rani wouldn't go a light year near either of them unless she was forced to. Missy IS the Master, and Time Lords changing genders has always been perfectly logical. For me, Michelle Gomez plays the most interesting and certainly my favourite Master yet.
