I went the other way around, I tried Mitas E09 front and the E09 Dakar for the back, and the Dakar on the back was the perfect, but the E09 on the front did not give me any confidence on the road and offroad, it just felt something was wrong. After some searching i Went with Mitas E10 (not Dakar) on front and Mitas E09 Dakar on the rear, and they were a good combination, I made 6000 km on them (3000 on road and 3000 off road) and even though I Think the front was lacking on offroad, the combo on road was good, the confidence and grip even on wet tarmac was more than I expected and on the curves you can even lean very much on the road, the feedback was nice. The only problem is that after 3000 km of wear (and after some offroad) I could not go faster than 160 km on the road cause the front startet do woble a little, but that did not happen when they were new. On offroad, I tried everything and even full deep mud, and the E09 dakar on the back never lack grip and traction, however on deep mud the front is out of his element, on gravel they work both great but you do feel the front wants to slip on higer speeds. PS - On september this year, Mitas will change the denomination of the E09 and the E07, and have a new designation Enduro Trail XT +, and Enduro Trail +, also will have a new 50 50 tire that is just the Enduro Trail ADV (similar to the Pirelli scoprion STR), and also have a new line up called Enduro Trail Rally, which consistes on a rear tire with 3 diferent options for the front, looks like de E13 on the back, and the E12 on front and 2 more option for the front). Hope that makes any sense.

I used many of these on my Dr750. Front was terrible on and off road. Rear lasted around 3000 miles for standard and around 4000 miles for Dakar. This is on a low power bike. I will fit the E09 rear on my tenere and maybe the E13 front which I have had great success with on my CCM644

I am amazed you got that much km out of them. I chew them up in around 2500 km from full tread to pretty much bold... also mixed terrain.

Have just recently returned after a lap of Tasmania, with an E-09 rear on my T7. Got to say I am more than happy with it after 3500 km of about equal bitumen/dirt and the tyre has impressed me greatly. Had Anakee Wild on the rear before and I like the E-09 better. Still have the Anakee wild on the front after 10,000 km and is wearing well.

Owning a Tenere 700 extreme edition, doing loads of road driving and also loads of off-road (50/50) : I got the E07+ on the rear and the E09 on the front (Not Dakkar version), the E07+ is a good rear tyres that last very long but the front is sketchy and after 2800kms it was totally worned out for offroading... They are grippy when new, but very soon they become slippy. I don't know how you managed to get out that many kms out of them, I know i drive very fast offroad and i am heavy on breaks and gas, but still impressed, my front tyre is really rounded out and pretty dead. I switched to enduro trail xt+ (E13) on the front now and we will see what it will get...

It's a hard tyre, so lasts long, but does not perform hard. I have them on and take it easy. That is my riding style anyway, so I'm happy😊

They don't offer tubed as I can find..... Cost of front tire is the same as a full set of my D605s.... yes.... less miles but I prefer the d605 to do it all... 8000 miles on front ... ready to replace. .... 3000 on rear..... got another 1000 miles.... good review

Let us know if the rear really makes those 11000km and how it will look like. I am very courious, all my buddies took only up to 5000km from it. I will be putting it on soon too, so it will be nice comparison. :)

Pavlin is not agressive on the asphalt and he travels light. If your style is different, your tires can last that half of his.

when the goal is a long distance with proper driving, the tires last a long time - it all depends on the mind and the goal. IF YOU DO SHORT DAILY TRIPS THEN YOU CAN AFFORD AGGRESSIVE DRIVING AND THE TIRES WIRE IN 2500-300 KM. AGGRESSIVE DRIVING STYLE IS NOT ALLOWED ON A LONG JOURNEY...

Gotta say... These 09 aren't that good in winter ! Wet roads, and mud... They're not really good ! Except the rear tyre that is okey on mud but still not good on wet roads... But hey knobbies are never good on wet roads !
