My best guess is that bards exist as meat shields, getting hit by stray arrows instead of you. Because enemies prioritizing shutting up the bard seems like the sort of thing this game would go for.

GTA had an MMORPG called Multi Theft Auto CIT2 server, and yes it was amazing. Rockstar actually took a TON of ideas from that fdan made mod for GTA online. They monetized tf out of those ideas. . . but they took them from us, the community.

After Rockstar made RDR2, I have always hoped/wanted someday for them to make a fantasy game with their particular style and attention to detail. Maybe someday... we can always hope and dream at least.

A game I'd like you to try is called dead state, it came out in 2014 in the height of the zombie game height, but never really reached the height of some of its peers, which is a shame as its a rather good game, can warmly recommend :).

I bought this game in April, it's frickin' hilarious! It gave me GTA2 vibes (obvs), the live intro was completely unexpected and fantastic! Great game if you want a good laugh...those police horses 🤣

I feel like Punch Club 1 and 2 would be right up your alley for indie weird games. Basically if you every wanted to play as cheesy 80's fighter protagonist with almost everyone form of movie and cartoon scenario thrown in for good measure plus no pesky VO in true indie fashion. I think I watched Kevin play this a year ago. He never doesn't do 2nd videos on indies. This is an interesting format... With your voice you could kill it in History/informative documentarys fyi. You should check it their next game "Cowboys and Rustlers", it makes this look take. This goes down to £2.49 seemingly a week out of every 5/6 on Switch too so even with its jank is well worth it.

This game missed the one ingredient that made GTA2 truly a masterpiece, which was it's rather fun multiplayer, which at it's time of release was unplayable without the newest network cards, but later in the internet days made the game become a retro classic

As an original Grant Theft Auto player, since the beginning of the franchise. Which was so long ago I practically sometimes forget the Isometric 1 with like full 2D and 2 with Top to bottom ~more 3D stuffs (was it 3 the first full 3D?, anyways). I do think this Grand Theft Horse is a great and needed game, that I at least have maybe more than once dreamt of. So it is in a way a dream came true (not that I will possibly ever play it, and also Witcher and than Red Dead Redemption were the first Grand Theft Auto medieval, especially Red Dead, but the point is, don`t hate me for it... Witcher one was a horrible horrible game from it`s very first radial menu moments, and the adoption of it by people and popularity right up Until the Mega Hit 3 is literally the down fall of Single Player 3D rpgs. Also Skyrim was a horrible game as well, to off load some of the Witcher faults. But literally Witcher Enjoyers and their even ~less intelligent imitators for the sake of popularity ruined gaming for incredibly many people. Also Dark Souls Fans. Cyberpunk 2077 and PL are ~somewhat... enough for CD Project Red to "buy out" their guild and sin out of the gamer community... I think it is why that game was made in a first place... and it did deliver some ~not Witcher Gamers I'd assume) The point of this, as it turns out, Giant bracket "intervention" is to explain why I think this game will be Understood and Appreciated by very little people. For example me, self proclaimed so, being amongst them... I won`t ever obtain or play it ~in favor of ~erm a lot of other stuffs, some more preferable, some more necessary. But for those ~like yourself that still get to enjoy things like this ~well... Enjoy :P.

Sod it. Bought it for a tenner on Steam with all the DLC, probably be fun to play in short bursts on the Steam deck. I think the sequel would work well in a Western setting, but then is it just a parody of red dead? Come to think of it, is Red Dead just a parody of GTA?
