I am very disappointed in my miter set increment jig, I have checked all the alignments on my saw and tried the jig a few times with very poor results. I tried an eight segment and had to sand three of the pieces in order to get a tight fit, ditto with three rings today with 10 segments. I bought this jig after hearing all the great comments about accuracy and ease of use. I don't know what I could possibly be doing wrong as I have been very careful with setups. The last 10 segment ring I made I had to shim the 00 pin with a blade from an exacto knife and it turned out perfect. ??????

The good thing about it is that if you set the miter gauge at a perfect 90 degrees with this jig and make a cut on the saw and the cut is not square, it will indicate that the miter slot is not parallel to the blade and is need of adjustment.

You should have shown the 22.5° on the segments too. Just pulled it over and dropped the 8 pin in.

I am still very disappointed with this jig, I have found that the only way I can get a perfect glue up is if I shim the 00 side 35 thou. Funny thing is I have searched for a contact for the company and cannot find one. I would like to give them the benefit of doubt but I am starting to think this thing is just a rip off gimmick!

What I find disappointing is the fact someone went to great lengths to manufacture a poorly designed billet machined block with loose parts. This is no substitute for a simple compass or sign bar. Pay attention or pay cash!

I just use a compass and can cut just as accurate as this jig.

Don't fall for this gimmick miter gauge has to be aligned to miter track.this is useless.

Well, of your miter slot is not parallel to your blade, you need a new saw!
