I owned a 620bhp GTO VR4, 91 model tuned by Ralliart, drove it 210mph, I still miss it so much!

Your video came to my recommended view in YT. Sorry for your loss, that car is a true timeless gem. I used to own one, but life and fate didn't let me keep it forever.

Why did you sell it? These cars are so unique I will never let go of mine. Of course, I am lucky to have an awesome wife who loves the car as much as I do. We have three other vehicles for different chores but when it is fun or road trip time it is the VR4 in the summer.

Different plans with money and the platform isn't the easiest to work on unfortunately... enjoy your ride!!
@dct1242 жыл бұрын
The ride height was for bad weather, snow, rain, flooding, dirt roads, city pot holes, speed bumps, etc. It was also to accommodate the active aero in the down position so it would be damaged.
@levberez2 жыл бұрын
That's the only logical explanation. Although I did daily drive it lowered for about a year without any of those being an issue
@dct1242 жыл бұрын
@@levberez yeah, other parts of the world like Thailand get really crap weather and constant flooding but they have the best 3000GT community. Since we didn't really have SUVs back then most cars road high. I do recall reading something from the designer, saying it needed to go up mountains in snow, rain and cope with heavy winds. That was the reason they supposedly went with a transverse engine so it could do that in FWD also.
