So I have my L400 at high elevation (colorado), 4m40 engine and noticed that I’m having cold start problems that I never had while I had it in Japan. Additionally it s giving off more carbon than ever before. So I changed the glow plugs, fuel filter, oil, and put some sea foam in it and am still having the same issue. That makes me think that I need to adjust the fuel ratio going into the engine. I have heard of people doing adjusting the fuel pump before but haven’t seen any videos. If you ever get the chance, would love to see a video on that. Keep it up though and thanks for sharing the videos!

Thank you for another great video. A follow up question on the part number. After a Google search I don’t see a part # with the -T designation. I am only seeing MD628059? Is there a difference and if so any suggestions on a website to order from. Thanks in advance.

I suspect it was just a suffix added by that particular manufacturer. The part crosses to the montero and few other vehicles so you should be able to purchase it from any number of auto parts suppliers both local or online depending where you are located.
