Sup guys ;) new subsriber here!!! I really love your videos you guys are awesome!!! I also Love your delica ;) am from Canada and have some of those here too ( in the west at least ) but i was wondering, how do you guys find parts for it if something breaks? Its pretty rare in the americas thats the only reason i dont buy one cuz am scared of not being able to find a mechanic to work on those awesome vans while travelling... Thanks and keep the great work !!! 😎✌

Hi Dimitri, thanks for your support! We had the chance to meet many Delica owners while driving through BC a year ago. We were invited to a BC RHD Group meeting and it was awesome. Heaps of great people there. The Delica is based on the Mitsubishi Montero or L200, which are very common cars anywhere in the world apart from the USA and Canada. Finding parts throughout the Americas is, in most parts, super easy. Only a few parts are actually Delica specific, like the steering rack, interior finishings and a few other things. And for those we import directly from www.partsouq.com and have it delivered anywhere in the world via Fedex. In the Canada there are a handful of Delica mechanics I got to know, most on the West Coast. All of which are very familiar with the car and have easy access to the parts. In the USA it's a bit trickier, especially if you have a diesel. Anyway... we never had any problem finding parts so far. So I wouldn't worry too much. Cheers!

I've watched hundreds of van tours and I must say I keep coming back to your layout. It's just perfect! I have a 1996 Delica L400 that I'm hoping to camperize. I plan on stealing your design pretty much exactly for the builder to copy 😊. Thank you so much for sharing!! ❤️🥰🇨🇦

Great job of building and explaining. We’ve travelled lots of the back roads of Mexico in a Eurovan . You get used to it, people are courteous and speeds slow. We once had a donkey pass us 3 times on the same day!

I have just completed my delica conversion...? Well conversion never really ends as new ideas always crop up but I'll say finished for now. You have done A fantastic job as I know the hard fitting pionts are few and far between in the del and most of the work goes into the figuring it all out to encompas ALL THE SPACE AND ALL THE SCENARIOS of your use. You guys have "THINKED" it well. Enjoy you labour and have fun.

Thanks, Kaylem! You are totally right! There is no end to the van conversion thing! This is our V3.0, and there is always something that could be better. But as long as you have fun while thinking it through and putting it together it's all worth it! Have a great day!

I have to say that this the best design Ihave seen which is close to my vision. Can you explain how you would use. the rear outward facing seat at. the rear? Do you think that. you could fit a sink and. a. cooker on. the right hand side inside the van - where you have a. nice. wooden top and storage? I have just bought. a 2000 Delica 2.8 TD but won't. take delivery until November so. am now doing my conversion planning. What. software app. did u use?? Many thanks Kiwi Chris

hey I really love your delica campervan conversion! I have a LWB with crystal lite moonroof and I was always thinking how do I install a ventilator with that limited space. Not sure if it can be done but I saw your mini fan ventilator here which is cool! that certainly can help:) How does it look like at the top of the van from the outside? thanks for the video! cheers

Hey guys with the seat up facing the rear I'm trying with measurements myself and mine is a low roof but my beds lower however I can't seem to be able to sit in it without my head having to bend because of the roof...do u guys actually fit in it? It only seems to work for me if my head's out the back of the car which seems like the back rest would be of no use. Sorry to be a pain I have so many questions lol I really love it design

How did you find driving in the USA in a right hand drive vehicle. Am looking to set out from UK but so much of the world is left hand drive
@OverlandWay6 жыл бұрын
It takes a little getting used to. But after a while its not too difficult. You will need a passenger to help you overtake though!
@jonasozana96496 жыл бұрын
The new inside of the Vanda looks really cool. It'll surely also be more practical than before. I just wonder if you can legally drive with passengers in the back when the seat is not from a factory. Especially when you plan to drive through Europe. Hodně štěstí! :-)
@OverlandWay6 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, thank you very much! No... we can't legally drive with passengers in the back anymore... we've made that seat mainly for us to be able to seat down and use our computers inside the car. We could take people around if we had too, but that's not the idea. Cheers!
@jonasozana96496 жыл бұрын
Sure, that's exactly what I thought. Thanks for the response/Díky za odpověď. :-)

You are welcome, bro! Ah... and don't be discouraged by that... we can fit a seat belt whenever you are ready to come join us for some days ;)

It would surely be nice to meet you after you arrive to Czechia. I think we still got enough time though. I'm currently studying in the first grade of high school (I'm 16 btw), so I'm pretty sure I won't join you, but you can surely stop by. When do you plan to arrive to Europe? 2019/2020? You can than tell me as you get closer, I'll surely continue to comment on your videos. But as I said, we still got enough time. Love you guys! Hodně štěstí! 🌎🚐😀

@@OverlandWay if you fit a seatbelt is that all that would be legally required to use that bedseat? That would be awesome!

You forgot to mention how cool your bed/sofa set up is. When it's in sofa mode, you have the nice weather option of sitting and looking out the back. and then the shitty weather option of sitting inside. For anyone who wants to know more about this bed setup, it's called a "rock and roll bed".

Hi Mitchell! We use one of these guys: alexnld.com/product/space-saving-collapsible-sink-grey-silicone-for-home-caravan-boat-rv-camping/ It's a collapsible sink we can move around. We are not big fans of cleaning stuff close to the van... Cheers!

Since I've only seen a couple of Delicas in the States. I was wondering about its actual dimensions
@OverlandWay6 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't know from the top of my head, but if you want exact figures here is the 3D model of the Delica. You can measure pretty much anything with it. There are different formats for different software. Otherwise I think there are schematics for the Delica on Google! I hope it's helpful: www.overlandway.com/delica-3D/
