A good use for being able to have headlights on via the app is for instance you happen to have to walk to your home or front door in the dark it can iluminate the way ahead and help trying get the front door key in the lock ,it allso gives any potential stalkers etc that you may have company sitting in the car making sure you get home safe,you can then turn it of once home.

Hello Mate, Nice video, I've tried using the remote climate control, but the problem is that it doesn't use the mains electricity to heat the car. It turn the car on or uses the already charged battery to heat the car up. Why won't it just draw electricity from the mains and not use the much needed charge. Have you got any suggestions to make it work by heating the vehicle without using the juice saved in the battery. Thank you.

Woke up this morning with a warm vehicle but only 6 miles of charge where as I would get 27 miles worth of charge without using the climate control option. Note: the vehicle was charging all night and was plugged in via UK mains charger.

Hi - I agree, one of my frustrations too. Unfortunately there is no way around this. Re low electric miles it might be worth checking you're not running the preheat for too long. Schlüssel muss sich im Fahrzeug befinden / 2. Türen müssen geschlossen sein / 3. Start/Stop Knopf (ACC-Taste) drücken / 4. 5 mal hintereinander auf der Fernbedienung verriegeln/öffnen drücken / 6. Warnblinkanlage einschalten / 7. 10 mal hintereinander auf der Fernbedienung verriegeln/öffnen drücken. Damit sind alle vorher registrierten Geräte im Fahrzeug gelöscht. This is how the registered devices are deleted (e.g. when purchasing used Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV, if the previous owner had registered his smartphone and registration with the Mitsubishi Control APP is not possible, error code 2101): 1. Key must be in the vehicle / 2. Doors must be closed / 3. Press the start/stop button (ACC button) / 4. Press lock/open on the remote control 5 times in a row / 6. Switch on the hazard warning lights / 7. Press on the remote control 10 times in a row lock/open. This means that all previously registered devices in the vehicle are deleted.

Good morning I saw your very useful videos and I am sending you this message. I am the happy owner of a 2021 Eclipse Cross PHEV. I use the Mitsubishi Motor Remote Control Application - simple but sufficient - with an up-to-date iPhone 8. I noticed two things: - The range of the application is very short less than fifty meters - When I ‘m connecting to the car I receive a message indicating that the wifi network is old Is there a way to improve the situation. For example a manufacturer update? THANKS

Although, if you're getting 50m that's a lot better than the connection range I get with my Outlander. I've not come across that error message, but it may be worth contacting Mitsubishi Customer Services who may be able to help. Good video, reading through the comments and following the link to the FAQ I manage to solve the connection to the phev. My problem was with a huawei android 10 couldnt get the ssid in the app, after reading through the FAQ link I noticed that wifi and location settings are required and noticed the location wasn't activating on the phone. Solved after checking wifi and location settings in the app permissions. Thank you.

Has anyone else found that the when you set the timer for the auto heat you can select eg 7:30am but then on the summary page it shows 8:30am ie still in bst rather than having changed to GMT? The time in the app top left corner is correct and the date is correct and it is correct in the car too. Anyone got any ideas? Great video by the way

If the app time is correct that should be the main trigger to start the pre heat. May be worth trying again. Sometimes the connectivity can be patchy! I usually have to reconnect to the house afterwards again. Set up on Android Samsung not great - had to connect to the wifi, using car ssid and password, from the phone settings wifi menu using WPA2 encryption (I think), and then the app install worked.

Hey Ive got the 2014 phev. Never tried the defrost yet but pre heat doesnt seem to work all the time, ive tested both 10 min and 30 min but it has only worked once. Whats the biggest difference between defrost and preheat and why isnt pre heating working properly? :( Also preheating for 30 mins takes more electric than the car can charge Thanks in advice

Hi - Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on this video. I presume your heating is working at other times? I mainly use it for defrost (which consumes less than preheat in my experience). Make sure you don't open/unlock the doors during the preheat or it may prematurely end it. If it's still not working maybe have a look at the settings in the app and make sure there is nothing on there which would stop it working. Failing that maybe worth checking with Mitsubishi customer service or your local garage. It's a great time saver in the winter. Good luck🤞🏽.
