With the judge ruling at 9 minutes, both are possible, you can mitsuguri negate and cross negate because the effect is still resolving as the cost to discard 1 was payed

correct i was thinking ritual is also while resolving but it’s while ritual is resolving not the card you attempt to negate

You can resolve both because they happen once you get to the card you want to effect

You can def use both ritual chains it's not on res so cl 2 will resolve they either discard or not if they do discard then cl 1 will resolve and you can choose to negate it again.

I wouldnt say that what ever the reason is, is 100%. This deck isnt solved yet so try experimenting with it

Have you found an answer to the ruling question from ~ 8 minutes (ryzeal cross + the mitsurugi discard or negate)? Edit: Now seeing what that person in your twitch chat wrote about it, did you still ask a judge about it or just went with that ruling?

Should be able to do it, ryzeal cross on res, while the misuguri discard is one chain link higher on res.

Would it be worth playing maybe a very small Ogdoadic package of Ogdoabyss and Nauya, so you can search Nauya off Feral Imps, the dump Ogdoabyss, the summon it out with Futsu to potentially get another board wipe?
