I think sculpting is the most difficult part in the 3d process. Like you said, their library characters are limited and so it's not that unique. What's the best rigging add-on for blender ??

Mixamo is awesome. I've been using it for a while now. It just makes your work faster but nothing unique

Mixamo is great, a lot of concept artists uses it for posing quickly their characters.
