I mean of course they might play it up on some of the more lighthearted segments, but one shouldn't confuse a love/hate rundown with the lead stories of the day. There's nothing wrong and nothing childish about sarcasm. It is a rhetorical device to do things ranging from adding slight humor and variety to pointing out how poorly thought-out a person's point is. It certainly shouldn't be something a grown adult can't handle.

They never wore black jerseys to begin with, therefore them adding a black Jersey, is more controversial then adding a red one. They used to at least have a red one. I like them. Everyone keeps saying they don’t really look different but I think they look a lot different and they have a classic look to them. I just don’t like when they wear blue pants. All of them are way better but not great wish they added white fur mark stripes on the waist and or shoulders. The irony here is they don’t. At least not anymore. Mike used to brag about the ratings, they came out in February, this show has been top 5 in its time slot nationwide for the last several years (#2 in 2022). They weren’t even top 20 in 2023.
