I have two 160As, and I really like them. I recently had them hot-rodded by Jim Williams and they sound even better; more transparent and easier to make it sound like it's not even there. Overall, the 160A is an underrated compressor I've seen used in both home and professional studios alike. And the used price is awesome.

I bought the Audioscape 260VU and I love it for parallel drum comp. Sometimes kick and snare too.

Really great compressor. I have this in the 500 series. Although I have higher end VCAs this one will not leave my rack. Someone did not realize what they had and I got it for $150 on Guitar Center.
