2:24 the fact that they used to call "travel" on people like MJ back then is proof of how low the NBA has fallen today
@grillbuster15194 жыл бұрын
They seldom called Michael for traveling if you watched back then. They happened to call one travel here, because it was very obvious. you used the one play alone to make a broad, inapplicable statement. Jordan basically invented the legal travel.
@ap61604 жыл бұрын
@@grillbuster1519 you seriously think the travels people get away with today are comparable to the ones before?
@grillbuster15194 жыл бұрын
A P I believe the superstars traveling today are very similar to MJ. MJ really was the first to get “superstar” treatment, or no foul outs/travels. They would blatantly call fouls on other players instead of MJ so he wouldn’t foul out. I don’t blame the players, it’s the league that allows it. Why wouldn’t they take advantage of it?
A P kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZuYoa2dm9ioZ68 both travelled heavily, because the refs and league allowed it.

There are a lot of lessons to learn from clips like these, AI was an amazing player but never won a championship. Iverson didn't leave feeling empty handed. Iverson had a generation, Iverson can say he reset the margin for the NBA players of today. Prior to Iverson they wasn't bringing the street basketball element to the NBA. They was all by the book and shit. The day after he left the sixers for Denver half of the Philadelphia stadium or whatever was empty because he was gone. Even the sixers of today were nothing like the sixers of the Iverson Era.
