Helps when you know that the US has 1,700 federal judges and over 30,000 states judges. While I'm sure most judges have heard of these court shenanigans by now, most have never actually faced one. Combine that with the number of cases they have daily with people who are drunk, stoned, uneducated, or simply oblivious and it can be hard to tell immediately whether the person they are dealing with needs help or is being intentionally obtuse. so weak.....this Judge needs to be replaced. The judge didn't order him to be there in person but said he was "welcome to appear in person" Thats BS...and than he said he would not come in person at which point the judge needed to tell him it was an in person and not Zoom hearing......what a weak judge!

Mike, I appreciate you giving me an education on what "after davids" are. As a result I called my friend of 11 years named David and told him we cant be friends anymore because hes a sovcit and immediately hung up on him. He tried to call me 6 times after but I ignored it for two days as I wont entertain these people. I called him after to give context. I know I made the right decision because when I feel a fez is in the near future I need to cut all ties......... (please note the sarcasm of this entire post. I did tell him about this context, linked this vid and he laughed his ass off and now as an insiders joke to our friendship circle of friend that is just over a decade strong, hes now the "token sovcit"). Well played LTWM! :)

After that, I would have definitely required an in person appearance. It was funny - he was objecting to it not being in person - until he was told he could be in person and then he didn't want to. But if I was the judge, I'd definitely require it - it would make contempt so much easier to enforce.

The time - and money - these people waste is infuriating. Those are -your- and -my- tax dollars being flushed down the toilet because the Courts entertain these clowns. Courts should immediately implement standard policy for such cases that would curtail these: Insist you're not the defendent? Issue a bench warrent and/or threaten to arrest the person for identiy theft or similar charge. Any such nonsense about 'jurisdiction' and 'bond' and such should be met with either 'that's not an issue for today' or 'that's not an issue for this court'. Stackable contempt charges and prison time from about the third time such nonsense spills out of the idiot's mouth after said warnings.
