Thank you guys. As trivial as this stuff is, common sense isn't something people understand in an emergency. As a pioneer in Rave Culture after the Happyland Fire on 3-25-90 in the Bronx, we were well versed in this stuff, first being a front and a back exit. Absolutely marked with Exit signs. Never use candles period. Never put cloth over lamps. Even search people for matches and lighters and take those away if need be. People have to understand the more concrete and less wood a structure is, with high ceilings and no wood rot, your chances of a fire are minimum. Those poor victims of the Oakland tragedy....thanks for making this video,.

Thank you Frankie for your post. Its great to see you here, being that you and I met in an Oakland warehouse. :) I never knew about the Happyland Fire until now, that is a CRAZY story... Much love.

Every 13 years this story repeats itself - 1990, then 2003 in Rhode Island, 13 years later, Oakland. I have been leaving comments in many of these topics just for support, Everyone should watch this video once at least, you guys did a great thing here.

Missing one thing, State of California requires emergency exit lights. These need to provide a light at the exit and generally along the path of travel to the exit. Not all exit signs have emergency lighting as part of the unit/assembly.
