I hope this is not a silly question but can you have with the van that let’s say seats six passengers or eight passengers like the one you have there, can you have more than, one client at a time in the van like picking up clients on a route

No question is a silly question girly. Loading multiple passengers in your vehicle is possible, but it depends on the contract terms. Some contracts have restrictions on multi-loading; for example, during COVID-19, we were unable to load our vehicle fully. Also, some contracts limit the number of passengers to two or three at a time.

Quick question: are there restrictions to van used (like electric vs fuel?) Will DOT medicare/medicaid inspect and require certain specific companies to do the ramp install or can I hire an EV mechanic and be approved as long as safe and functional per the inspection guidelines? My issue is that the Braunability vendors have no EV installations and this is a limiting factor.

I haven’t seen any restrictions on the use of electric vehicles. If any regulations exist, they’re likely on a local level, based on the preferences of the organization you’re contracting with. If you plan to become a vendor with your state’s Medicaid department, they will conduct a vehicle inspection to ensure it’s in proper working condition for transporting recipients. As for ramp installation, you’ll just need to ensure that the ramp meets ADA requirements.

Typically less expensive to purchase with the equipment already in the van. Unless you have the vehicle already and it on needs the conversion.

We decided no more than 50,000. However, we also suggest you get the van thoroughly inspected prior to purchasing If you plan to purchase used.
