With a slight learning curve, this Hyper 14210 is a great car, however, there is a simple solution to much better performance. I was a bit disappointed with the 3s speed though.i

*ALERT!* This is not the model that goes into ultra crazy mode by pressing the ESC button 5 times. This is the 14210. It’s not in the manual, and I’ve tried it. The H14BM, which is an even newer model only available on Amazon currently, is the one that does that. ALSO- I have tested it, and paddle tires of the same diameter do not lower the top speed. (Though admittedly the paddles on this model are slightly smaller, which is contributing to the lower speed than expected). Also comment winner has been chosen. You guys rock!! 👍👍

@OpaMando I also prefer this color scheme. Yes I believe you’re correct on everything you said, though oddly enough, I didn’t have a throttle delay that I noticed, but yes a dumbo would help either way!!

well those from Amazon got ''speed button'' on esp. I'm from EU and we rather buy from Aliexpress than Banggood, ( some Ali sellers delivers here from Spain, France and Germany ) and those 14210 comming from Ali are now V2 ( version 2 ) and comes unlocked ( actualy got no ''rookie-kids'' slow mode, only full blast. Anyways I'm a rookie and even S2 on 70 % is still crazy fast for me :) But from this video, mabye on peddal tyres will be more controllable.

Before the speed test, press the red ESC button five times and the car will get in "fast-mode". This way it should reach 50 mi/hr...Btw nice videos man. Thanks for sharing

Go Hyper Go Go... Awesome videoz, love the guy popping up from under the launch ramp. Dude, you make awesome videos while hammering the snot out of those cars. I can't believe they're holding up as good as they are. I have the HB16M and the 16207 and ran into differential issues not even beating them nearly as hard. But.. all in all, pretty damn good RC cars for the money, parts are inexpensive and pretty easy to replace. Thx for the great videos!

Lol, I appreciate you pulling apart the car to verify the upgraded diffs, I've wanted one of these but was gun shy after 3s chewed up 2 sets of gears in my 16208 before I found the hardened steel ones for it. Glad to know it's not gonna be an extra $40-50 dollars right out of the gate for new gears and will plan to get one in the futuren

I bought a foambox14210 from ali and got a V2. Then Spektrum radio (a de-cased sr410rx fit in the box) expo really helped the steering but didn't fix the throttle run-on, that must be in the ESC. Then I bought the 14209 tires, body, mount, and rear bumper to make it the badass jeep. The stiffer springs are perfect after swapping out the heavy spare tire for a drift wheel, the jeep body weighs 3x the truggy. Put the OE springs from the 14210 on your 14301 it needs them.

Excellent video as you have always been accustomed to. I recently bought 2 mjx 14210 and I had only seen your video of the mjx 14209 and I felt calmer due to your opinion about it. It's really a beautiful rc, I hope I have as much fun with it as I did with the mjx 16209. Ive been pretty impressed with MJX products. Alot of bang for your buck. I cant run my 1/6 scale vehicles on my small property, and the nearest open road has cars traveling 70mph, so Ive scaled down to smaller cars. Bought a couple of HyperGos based on your reviews. Thanks for posting!

Meh. I bought into the hype of the 1/16 brushless truck and it’s pretty awful. The Rear differential constantly breaks and it is literally the hardest part to get to.
