MK3 Supra - 60mm Turbo First Drive! (part 3)

finally testing the new Borg Warner S360 turbo. Sounds amazing and seems to come on at least 500-1000 rpm earlier. Will have to confirm after the re-tune :)

Nick Kaye yeah it was a t4 tubular manifold, you could probably get adaptors to make the stock manifold work but I wouldn’t recommend it. It had a slightly larger aluminium radiator and the intercooler is also aftermarket 600x300 cooling pro item

Very nice car I have the same one in red. But it is very complex, specially spread on the front and back B&M Brune. 1.99 m wide at the back. Chassis, rims, exhaust is all changed. The car drives great

enediino I’ve never added up the receipts but most of the work I try to do myself which saves some dollars. Perhaps around 20k worth..? It made 480whp on the old turbo. Currently at the tuners now

enediino video to update you on what happened coming today! If you’re goals are 500hp then I would suggest doing a full rebuild, forged internals, metal hg and studs etc. make sure the prep work is very good. And 100% use e85. Pushing 500+whp on 7M with 98 is recipe for disaster

enediino you can make that power with a 7M definitely. But it will be more work. I would suggest you price both options up. If it’s around the same money then JZ will make your life easier long run
