Haven't finished the video but power techs have my vote. And not even lower it on coilovers, the lowest spring shock combo would give it a period correct look and you'd be able to drive it relatively care free

NGL I could live with stock height on the pt wheels. It looks good. Try some acetone on the wheels. Dissolve styrofoam not sure how it would do on your paint??

Hey Christian, if your gonna swap the engine then you gotta manual swap the grey Mk2 Jetta, also you gotta find a Mk1 Rabbit gti for the channel. I was told from one of my contacts that there’s lots of Mk1 vw Rabbit gti in the USA.

Try putting goof off on the styrofoam and let it set for a couple hours then use a plastic bristle brush to remove it

I have 1988 mk1cabriolet about 15 years ago and 1988 mk2 jetta. I looking for G60 computer about 12 years for the mk2 but I maker ABA with 1.8 mk1 gti big valve with webber. About 1 moth I get the computer now will go to the mk2. And I change the fuel tank for mk3 because is 1 fuel pump and mk2 use 2 fuel pump.Check the fuel pump ñs maybe that is mk2 no start fast

Gorgeous 🤌🏼 always been a **period correct parts only** build type of person (which I admit can get annoying sometimes when hunting for something super specific) and this setup is way too perfect. The mk2 in general is such a solid pick up and has so much potential 😍 surprised at how far it’s already come, but can’t wait to see more and where you take it in the future. So many builds to follow, and I’m hyped for each one haha P.S. For the styrofoam on the wheels just go with goo-gone man. It’ll 100% easily take it off.
