Awesome video, I have a white 2021 GLI Autobahn with the black package, have been going back and fourth between EQT and APR, this helped a lot. That exhaust also sounds perfect, not looking for anything to obnoxious, sounds great!

Thank you! Glad I can help. APR is still good but IMO EQT's power delivery is way better. Smooth and strong as if it was sent this way from the factory. Also AWE makes the best exhaust in the game hands down looks and sound wise.

@@omariwest9068 Yes. If your engine blows up or trans fucks up theyll blame it on the tune. VW can detect whenever a tune has been applied on the ECu too.

@@Southpark124 - thank you sir. Due to that fact I think I will wait until my initial warranty is expired b4 I do any tune. I wonder what economic sense it makes for people to do a tune to a new car while it’s still under warranty.

@@omariwest9068 Some people just don't care. I had a Supra (pictured) and I tuned in a few months. I knew I wasn't gonna keep it long because I don't keep my cars for longer than a year.

Very Nice. I have a 2019 GLI 35th Anniversary also in the Grey. Tuned by Stratified with Cobb AP, ECU and DSG. It is a monster under the tune. still making decisions on next upgrades.

@@plumski86 If you want performance go for 35th. It's lighter comes with the unique badges, summer tires stock. and I got mine in 2019 with a 6 year warranty now they changed it to 4 years.

Nice 35th MK7. I have the same year GLI in pure grey. I mainly went with the GLI over the GTI because at the time, you couldn't get the base GTI for the same price as previous years and the 35th came standard with an LSD which is must for FWD with that much torque. The DCC was a nice bonus. It's a nice car for the money but, you can still tell they don't give the same amount of love to the GLI as they do to the GTI. The exhaust on the 1st gen MK7 GLIs are way too quiet for the type of car it is and the shifter(I have the 6spd manual) feels sloppy and cheap. I can't wait to replace my tires with something other than the Hankooks that come with the car. I wound up getting the AWE touring exhaust which is perfect for being able to hear and feel some feed back from spirited driving while not getting a headache for longer drives. I also would of liked the pleather seats instead of the cloth. But, whoever is in charge of marketing and packaging for the US market has a screw loose. Like mentioned in the video, the Canadian market 35th received the pleather seats along with the LCD cluster as well as everything mentioned here.

I have a 2019 autobahn manual. I have intake and MBRP exhaust. To get the stage 1 tune with the burbles do you need to get a down pipe? Or can I keep my stock down pipe? Also would it void warranty? I have the 6 year warranty due to the emissions scandal 😅

Did you ever figure out the condensation issue? I have a '24 autobahn and it only has 1000km on it. At around 100 km, one headlight had some condensation that dissipated after the temperature increased.

I went with the 2021 Jetta R-line. VW did a crappy job with the different models. Like the R-line was the only model where I could get about everything besides digital dash, inside lighting, cooled seats, and leather. I feel like all GLI should have been loaded with everything. Luckily mine was a Fully loaded R-Line. I just wish they didn't make 4 or 5 models that don't really offer the good stuff. Like the S is nice and cheap, but the wheels are ugly. And the basic trim GLI is dumb to me. I Like the 35th Ann. roof, It would be nice if it was a big sunroof.

The Jetta is to appeal to people of all price points. You can get a simple good working sedan for 18k out the door! Or for 10k more you can get all the bells and whistles. That makes vw the “people’s car”. Lol

@@ZakaryRyanVrhel I'm aware of that, that's the reason I went with Jetta. I just purchased my 3rd Jetta. I ended up getting the 2022 Gli Autobahn trim with the black package in Grey. My point was that even the highest trim doesn't have stuff the lower-trim does. Like the Highest trim 2022 Gli doesn't come with navigation, but the premium Jetta does. The 2021 Trim lineup was the worst.

@@JamarConley who the hell uses stock navigation anyways? Everyone uses carplay/android auto. What does the lower jetta have that the GLI doesn’t otherwise? Adaptive suspension, xds, vaq lsd, led headlights/taillights, ambient lighting, heated cooled seats, digital dash, and so much more!

EQT offers burbles with stage 1 - there is a threshold that is safe for the stock downpipe, even VW added burbles to the new MK8 GTI/R from factory

Not sure why you'd want to. The ACC is inside the VW badge. It's part of the grill/bumper. I never took mine off but when I had the bumper off you can see that's how it's in there.
