Sol, another class video mate - I’ve really enjoyed your ST reviews and how much of a crack you’re having with the car! Picking up my ST-2 on Friday, which I’m buzzing about! On a separate note, I’m currently looking to purchase a Mk6 ST or ST500 as well, have you had any experience with these?

I know a little about the mk6 st, think they had a few gearbox issues so I'd look out for them. Also, I've heard of a few poorly engines, but you'll know if something is funky on a test drive

Great car the Fiësta ST! The more videos I watch about the car, the greater the chance of selling my VW Up! GTI and getting the ST instead😁

Watched both your ST videos a few times each while waiting to pick up my ST2 this week and it’s tomorrow (Friday) I could have got the ST3 but the ST2 you get the B & O was standard? So I added the performance pack and still worked out cheaper than the ST3 so kinda confused at that? 🤔 no red brake callipers though I can live with that I guess 😂 Nice videos man

Yeah the whole B&O thing confused me aswell, I thought it was just a mistake until I picked up my car lol. It is so much better than the standard system and I'd be so annoyed if I didn't have it now

Some of the roads you were driving on especially the really narrow roads looked absolutely perfect for the ST.

Just found your review on here sounds good I was wondering have you had any problems? I have a st2 since April it's been faultless... probably tempting fate now! But I an Dubois about the cylinder deactivation thinggy?

Yeah, no problems to speak of. The only thing you'll notice about the cylinder deactivation is the fuel it saves.

@@kevinparr4823 yeah, I see 50+mpg in this too much! But when you're out having fun you get used to the mid 30s

Yes, as is the case with any new car if you go to a dealership you can expect around 10% off the retail price. I ended up paying less than an st1 for my decently spaced st2

I've just picked up my brand new performance edition fiesta st mk8. I can confirm that with the adjustable coilover suspension it does handle and ride better than the standard variant..don't get me wrong its not night and day difference but is very noticeable. Good video by the way.. could you just confirm where you got you wind deflectors from. Are they heko or climair..also what induction kit have you gone with. Am after popping one in mine so after recommendations . Keep up th good work ..

Wind deflectors are from Heko, and induction kit is from CEUK. And cheers dude, enjoy the car. Also, did yours come with Michelin supersport tyres or pilot sport 4s

@@solmackay mine came I think with pilot sport 4 tyres.. did you get the hekos off eBay? Can't see them on heko website.. am ordering induction kit from CEUK as that's what most have and looks like easy install. How'd you find it..does it sound alot better than standard. And how did the hekos fit heard they bit difficult to get in properly ?

@@davidkay3443 Yeah, I think I got the wind deflectors off eBay and had noticed a tighter fit than in my last fiesta mk7. They're in now though and it'll be a pain to get them back out. The induction kit makes a big difference in terms of sound, but in performance I'm not convinced.

@@solmackay cheers for that. I'm convinced won't be any improvement in performance was just for better engine sound. I'll have look on eBay for wind deflectors..thanks for the help
