@@LeSkinnerthat's not gonna make a huge difference. Arm length, stride length, arm swing, and watch positioning all vary greatly from person to person. More so than the difference of positioning an inch off. In practice, there could be some affect, but you wouldn't think it would be such a big difference. Technically, if there's any affect, if the user has longer than average arms, wearing the watches higher would likely increase their accuracy, and wearing lower would decrease accuracy. The reverse should be true for people with shorter than average arms, if there's an affect at all. @@anianii they didn't just write down the number immediately anyway so that "give it some time" argument doesn't work. Also why would a step counter not count accurately when the user needs it. U saying every apple user has to know that there is a delay for ther counter to work. Also how did the rest of them get it right then? Why no delay in others but apple? Ur argument is trash tbh.
@colinfacemyer13562 ай бұрын
using rotations the watchs further in are going to count less if they are all the same accuracy and that is because they would have traveled a shorter distance by like a inch per a swing cuz it would be closer and the one further could track more per swing

I find very interesting the position of the watches on the arms because the pixel and the samsung were more accurate and made similar measurements but also were more close to the wrist while the apple and the other one were far from the wrist but still made similar results between them 🤔

Also the placement of where the watch is on your arm/wrist can affect the results. The pixel with the most accurate counting was also the most correctly placed on your wrist. A real test would be 4,000 steps. Wearing each one correctly positioned on your wrist. But that wouldn't fit in a short.
@goodkittie2Ай бұрын
the issue with these counters is they also count when you move your arms or clap your hands. I discovered my fitbit over counted so I did buy the oldschool pedomoeter and i bought a withngs watch (i wanted a hybrid watch). Withings sometimes counted less than my iphone but the pedometer seemed more accurate.
@Robert-54558 ай бұрын
The only issue is that you weren’t wearing them in the positions that the company tells you to put them. For example the Fitbit and Apple Watch are supposed to be two fingers from where your wrist bends, but if you were looking for a general example then it is probably fine. And yes you do look like MrBeast doing that.

I predicted before seeing the numbers at the end that the Apple and the Garmin would be less accurate. This is because they’re not being worn in the position they’re supposed to be. The user guides for smart watches typically say that it should be warn about 2 finger widths from the wrist bones.
