Tbh most of that is because of Shohei. Their pitching has been frustrating to watch at times

The rules need to change to -MASSIVELY- punish pitchers who intentionally hit a batter in response to a celebration or a previous altercation. I mean...25 game suspension, automatic awarding of 4 runs (or if the team they beaned is down more than 4, enough to put them up by 1, or if the game is already lopsided the other way, they start their NEXT game down 4 runs). Have it be such a draconian penalty to where players know they are free to celebrate, over the top, including taunts, without any consequences coming after the fact.

Why are pitchers such babies. Bro he hit a home run, if you don’t want him to celebrate don’t let him hit a home run

ironic that baseball fans all say "there's no crying in baseball" when they cry the most over unwritten rules or because the team got their feelings hurt some dude pimped his homerun lol

I would love to see baseball let players fight it out like hockey.. almost all the fights are just 1 guy running up to the other then both just dance around like they're gonna fight but chicken out or the whole team comes out to "hold them back" its so dumb

And yeah. Celebrating AT your opponents is poor sportsmanship in any sport. Celebrate yourself and your team and the achievements you’ve made. Taunting and directing your celebration at your opponent is weak and shows lack of control and respect. Come at me with the old head comments. I’m ready.

Yankees did the pies to celebrate walkoffs in 2009, had approximately 7000 of them that season and won the World Series. Clearly the Orioles wanted to make sure that didn't happen by putting a stop to their pies.

Clutch plays should be granted more clemency. Clutching bases loaded with a strike out... Robbing a homerun in a critical situation... Clutch double play... Clutch dive catch... Let the players get an enthusiastic LETS GOOO
