I was thinking when Hannah was talking about the it works products not helping how she's feeling I thought that it might be that she was using the it works products a lot and is now experiencing symptoms of withdrawal. Cause who knows what's in those proprietary blends. It's so sad because she seems so sweet and naive.

“I turned $300 to millions with this easy business… I would choose it every day over a traditional business” ummm then why do you still have your swimsuit business? If you’re already dreading mailing out swimsuits from your sale coming up then why do you still have the business? OR why don’t you hire someone to do the packing and shipping with the millions you have? Also, you don’t have to pay 3.5k for a website, you can get someone to create a custom site, branding elements, and social media strategy for less than that. The price range is huge, it just depends on who you choose and the package you choose. AND the site and branding that you get for 3.5k is WAYYYY more impressive, aesthetic, and memorable than your monat link… I can’t with these boss babes

I have mutual friends with the lady that left It Works to join Thrive. She is a part of the Mennonite community. Amish and Mennonites are opposed to women taking outside jobs so you’re right about how MLMs appeal to them because they don’t have to leave their homes. It’s actually quite sad 😞

I recently found out the Origami Owl was an MLM. I always loved the living lockets friends and family have received. I looked online to purchase one and saw that they now offer so many other random "life" products, putside of their original merchandise which was the unique living lockets. I am now trying to find a similar product that isn't being sold by an MLM. (I have to be linked up to a local origami owl seller inorder to purchase anything and I don't want them blowing up my phone/email with information about their business opportunities lol

"I've done some research of the products," oh, yeah? What was your sample size? What were your sources? Did you perform independent probability statistics? Did you assess articles, critique them for inaccuracies and logical fallacies, test for biases? No? Then you didn't research anything. You consumed some kind of media (written, video, or otherwise) that had little to no objectivity and served your existing confirmation bias - and assumed that because it fit with your existing worldview, it can be considered 'proof.' If this person actually did research worthy of a PhD dissertation and can provide it to myself or any anti-MLM content creator, then I'll happily eat my words. Which, as a side note, probably have the same nutritional level of any of the supplements sold by ItWorks! 😂

The first hun: She said that if you run your own business that you have no mentor. That’s not entirely true. My previous boss, although he didn’t have a mentor per say when he started his business, he gathered people to form a admin council in which he gets advice on how to actually running his business and, spoiler alert, it doesn’t include reading a bunch of self-help books. When he wanted to sell his business, he offered the opportunity to his son who accepted it along with other partners and my now ex-boss mentored my new boss for the last two years. My previous boss builded his company from the ground up and, with time, he surrounded himself with a team upon which he can rely upon on several aspects of the business. You do wear a lot of hats at the beginning but, if your business grow, you can hire people to help out. Also, as a genuine entrepreneur, you get to go to convention and associations and meeting potential mentors and clients. As a MLM hun, you do none of that.

I started a business and i do have mentors from people in my community, and now I provide mentorship to others starting out. It’s about supporting others. And yes running a business is hard!!! But I love it because I’m selling a product that I made and actually BELIEVE IN-not duping people into spending money on something that doesn’t work or is scammy. And if they don’t want to buy it? I don’t contact them SEVEN MORE TIMES! I let it go, and wish them a nice day, and actually mean it, because Im a decent human. I see every person as a person, not as a potential sale. I would never give up my business, which is HARD, for an MLM

The woman who left It Works absolutely was only claiming she loved the products and they worked for her to avoid getting attacked by other It Works huns.. 💯 percent. No way if she truly loved the products and they worked for her would she have left the company she would have at least stayed linked for a discount. This is a whole lot of babbling to say "I didn't make money so I'm jumping to the next MLM to try my luck with this one because I need to try and make money but I don't want a regular job".

Hannah I love your videos and I don't usually comment but I am slowly working my way though your MLM fails videos and I needed to comment for this one. I love that you mentioned that children, and especially toddlers, can just throw tantrums or be fussy for no reason and it isn't necessarily a bad thing for a parent or mom to just say "well I can't help you or speak to you until you calm down some" and just move away from the child until they can calm themselves down. That is perfectly reasonable. What's not reasonable is filming this child's meltdown and bragging that you can work on your "business" while said child is having an emotional crisis in the background. Ridiculous.

When you yell at them to leave the room because you’re on a call? It’s gross.

Omg the lack of self awareness and contradictions I can’t even 😬. They all go on about how hard you have to work to make it to the top but then the first chick says join an mlm it’s heaps easier , but you will also have to work all the time . I would MUCH prefer to work really hard in an actual business that is really my own where I am earning money than an mlm where I am guaranteed nothing . You working hard either way (despite what she says) but when it’s really your own business it’s so much more interesting and satisfying and the skills you learn can be transferred into other jobs, unlike mlms.

10:59 Sadly... I have a story about this, too. A good friend of mine that I've known for years was with Scentsy for a while. She never tried to recruit any of her friends, or corner us into buying, but she did host a lot of parties to sell (and because I was very into stuff like Bath & Body Works, I bought a few). Then she got into whatever MLM was doing the nail art stuff. She hopped one or two _more_ MLMs after that, and then for a long time... nothing. I thought she had seen the light or something. But then we started talking again, to schedule game nights (something we used to do pre-pandemic but had to put on hold bc we both have chronic health issues that made it too risky), and what do you know: now she's with Paparazzi. 😞 I worry about her because I know their finances are always tight and MLMs *love* to target us disabled/chronically ill folks with their predatory recruitment shit, but I know there's no way to talk someone out of it once they've signed their soul away.

What I find interesting about the people trying to promote MLM is that they say that you can lie on your couch and make money but if you are not making money you are not working hard enough. So which is it? They also tell people if you are doing any other job, it's never going to be as good as doing MLM. That's the message I resent the most. So, I'm supposed to stop working at a profession I have built up over 25 years to sell CBD oil with an MLM, that's what I would do if I was REALLY smart!

I was so triggered when the first girl called all the things you have to do for your own business “obnoxious things”… Excuse me, but you the MLM hun are the one who is doing the most obnoxious things now. Spamming and scamming are pretty obnoxious 🙄

More charitable ways to help people: - donate money - volunteer - sponsor a family in need - buy gifts from sustainable businesses that employ people who have endured domestic abuse, trafficking, reformed convicts, those in other countries. - invite a widow or anyone who is spending the holiday alone that you know to spend the holiday with you. - PAY PEOPLE A LIVABLE WAGE FOR THEIR WORK…

There is only one valid time to film your child's meltdown/tantrum and that is to record the situation for talking it through with a specialist or therapist. All these adults need to think how they would feel if all their toddler years has been recorded and shared publicly!!

I think the female millionaire claim comes from a statistic that the majority of millionaires in MLM are women, or something like that? I have heard it claimed the other way around and debunked in other videos.

Affiliate marketing guru ad before this 😂. First lady is top cringe. Yeah, must be much easier to rely on the backs on your downline to make money. And it's amazing how it doesn't click that as she's comparing Monat to her business that she's NOT a business owner!

This is true about the Amish. I live right outside the Amish. Now we got a dog from the Amish. So she invited me and my mother in law to a party. It is one you have never mentioned. It is called Norwex. Some even do pampered chef that’s popular as Amish make pies and lots of baking.

Ummm....entrepreneurs absolutely have mentors. You have to seek them out through networking and asking, but so many people want to help those who are just starting out or not pros yet, especially if they show promise. Also, there are so many ways to be a business owners that don't start out with raw materials. I've said it before, but I started an online tutoring company back in the day with my laptop, WiFi and free children's e-books. It was all profit from day one. I just hate how they try to make it sound like the MLM is the only way. You have SO many options!
