So, over the course of this adventure so far: 1. Edbert woke up on a Island, brought there by the Evil Sea Goddess 2. Joined a pirate crew 3. Wind up protecting the people of the previously mentioned Evil Sea Goddess 4. Those people give him a blood eating reptile thing to keep as a pet 5. Nearly got kidnapped by a teleporting dinosaur 6. Met a wizard that's a giant tentacle brain on top of a tower and the journey is only halfway done... When Edbert inevitably goes back home and tells what happened to Simon, I hope nobody starts thinking that Edbert's sanity had finally been put 6 feet under.
@LoneDiceGuy2 жыл бұрын
Okay, let's sum things up: Edberg wants the soul cage to rid himself of Cherilyn once and for all. The Order wants the soul cage to revive Cherilyn. Nikola wants the soul cage to take out the ghost ship (I think? I forgot to be honest.) Ur-Osvathe wants the soul cage to be freed from the tower. The League of Free Lords wants the soul cage to entrench their control of the region. Wow! Everyone wants a piece of this thing and not everyone can have it. Definitely going to be blood before the end.
@wolfshield_games2 жыл бұрын
Your production values were already high Trevor but you've outdone yourself this time with even white balanced shots between cams as well as AV filters and blending for the dream sequence and Ur-Osvathe's voice! Your story telling would stand on its own but this is now next level stuff. Nicely done!

[Slight spoiler warning, of course] Ur-Osvathe seeks the Soul Cage to free himself from the tower? Sure. The thing is, who said he was a human before becoming entrapped? Who said he was even "entrapped" to begin with? ;) What if Ur-Osvathe is himself (or itself) an experiment from the previous owner of the tower?

I love when you do creepy stuff, you have so weird and interesting ideas. I wonder if Nicola is going to have some words in Edbert in private about bargaining with the usage of the Soul Cage without involving him - I think he would recognize that the help Ur-Osvath can provide worth that price but he also seems like the type of guy who would want to make sure that Edbert remembers that he doesn't search for the Cage for himself and would not go crazy with that kind of promises in the future.

All of the Order of the Purifying Flame All of them seem like douchebags lol. They're antagonists yes but they're not villains or bad guys. There must be some of them that are nice heroes seeing as they want to rid the world of undead lol. My head theory is that after Cherilyn died from "one of their own" they all became incredibly cynical. And maybe when she's brought back to life and Edbert proves his innocence, they'll become nice heroes again like they used to be.

Would be cool :) Thanks so much again..... your show has so much inspiration in it. :)

True, but this creature is not a reptile. At least not in the normal sense. Remember it was a tadpole, so it's at least part amphibian. They can be slimy. It's in the process of changing into more of a reptile like creature, but it's only half-way there. Easy to imagine it's still slimy now. Once it grows larger and becomes more reptilian, then I think your description would fit.
