SPOILERS Carlos, TWO TIMES the mutineer, finally gets his comeuppance! And a pretty gruesome one at that! Not that it wasn't deserved. But part of me feels a little sorry for him. All he ultimately wanted was to comprehend love... 😅 I loved that Nikola was the one who undid Carlos though! What a badass!

I always hoped that the Crimson Viper would show up at some point during the season, but to have it here of all places just speaks volumes about the fantastic nature of the Mythic emulator and the drama that random chance can provide. Now I can't wait to see what it's crewed by, or what its Captain looks like!

In the Princess Bride, Westley was able to survive certain death at the hands of the Dread Pirate Roberts because he has something to live for; that being true love. Carlos isn't dead. He's gotten away with so much this season, do you really think that just another one of the mad wizard's experiments is enough to kill him?

Carlos as next season protagonist would be fun. Edburt is easily my favorite character though. I rewatch season 3 episodes somewhat frequently, I've rewatched season 1 a couple times. Ironworn was fun but not as great as 1 and 3.

The ironsworn system really fit Arn and told a tight story, but man I missed the chaos of Mythic! It fits Edbert so well and combined with Trevor's unrivaled talent/creativity at interpreting the outcomes I don't think there was any other way we could have gotten one of the best episodes so far. A-M-A-Z-I-NG episode!! The constant action was insaaaaaane. Quick question about around 25:33, the Guardian attacks the pirate, but instead of a full 3-phases fight, it was reduced to 8 vs 5. Was it like a muscle roll? Again, I tremendously enjoy the series, well worth the two-week wait!

Great show, yes nice to see Carlos get his, oooh tentacles (beware a GM who has a set of tentacle figures), the Guardian is likely amphibious (like the lizard folk it was to protect) so perhaps has better chance of surviving a tentacle-wrapped dunk.

Love your videos !!! I’m trying to get into solo role play to play test my own superhero game. Question: ***small spoiler warning ***when the monster comes to the ship , how did you generate or come up with that monster ? You didn’t appear to lookup any roll tables or tools , was it entirely made up ? Appreciate a reply here I’m trying to get better at coming up with things on the fly not just for myself but for when I run a game as a game master . 😂

Thanks! Remember, everything you create as a GM (or solo player) should be context-based. There is no creating in a vacuum: everything that happens is linked to what has gone before. That way, unfolding events will make sense to you, and to your players. The monster appeared as it is because of events and knowledge gained from previous scenarios.
