MM3 With Custom Tunes On my 6.7l Cummins

I installed a MM3 with SDT tunes on my 2018 Ram 3500 6speed. Now I need a heavier clutch. More stuff to come.

How can i set up MM3 to change the range miles for the after market 52 gallon fuel tank?

I’m not sure I’ve never changed my fuel tank out that I never had to look into it.

How are you still liking the MM3 I’m thinking of getting one from my truck. Are you able to update Tune files easily if necessary, and also the software with the monitor itself

It’s nice if you not planning on building the truck. Just tuned and deleted it works good and the gauge display is nice. I’ve done other mods now and I need to retune but it’s had to find people that want to do it.

@@cowboysdiesel2484 I recommend dirty diesel customs that’s who I’m gonna end up buying from. They’re out of Canada but can supply tuning to the states. I’ve spoke to them on the phone several times and they seem to really know what they’re doing. Lotta people said they do good work . I appreciate the response back and yeah not planning on doing a build at all just a basic delete with a little extra horsepower if needed.

I have the MM3 with code clear for delete. Am going to test the various tunes for best gas mileage on highway. It seems the truck is at 1500rpm doing 70mph. Purchased mine through wholesaletuners as it seems the EPA has been cracking down. Any information, links, data would be appreciated as it had pretty much zero instructions. ATS 3000/5000 compound turbo setup will be installed next week. With high fuel prices, mileage and towing are my priority (hence the smaller compound turbo setup).

I run samedaytuning on my truck and I run tow tune all the time. I usually get around 20mpg highway and 16-17mpg in town. Towing is a different story depends on the load and hills it ranges from 12-14 mpg. They can write you tunes for your mods.

Hey bud thanks for the video. I'm pretty confused with the 5 position switch setting and the RT setting. I'm pretty sure I put all my customs files into ECU and not RT -

Im new with diesel truck and I got mm3 tuner like yours what do you recommend tunne for daily driving? And when I tow my rv trailer about 7000# ?

I run 65hp daily driving and towing. Gets decent mileage and plenty of power towing without tearing the truck up.

Do you have problem with yor mm3? Mine start act wierd if don't use truck for a week, and start truck screen is not turning on. I unplug it from obd port and then plug it back it works fine. Some reason if I don't drive it for long time it's not turning on.

Im considering buying a 2016 2500 that has one of these tuners, from a reputable dealership. I have no idea what the truck is tuned to, or how to operate it. Any suggestions?

If you click the gauges it will take you to a menu. The you will be able to click on the tuning levels 5 is the highest and 0 is stock. Now I’m not sure if there is a way to see who tuned it. And some very how much horsepower is added. Hot tune might be around 160-180 or it’s hard to tell.

I’ve got a 6.7 cummins with 150 over injectors dual cp3’s fass fuel pump 67mm turbo a cam and second gen manifold. Who did you send the tune to?

@@cowboysdiesel2484 how do they know how to tune it with the mods on your truck? Video the black smoke from the exhaust? I just installed MM3 with tunes but it doesn't have any instructions or information. Glad to know that I should save the stock tune and put it in the USB dongle to start.

@@stiffmeister0hYeah if your doing custom tunes the person writing the tunes will need to know all the mods you have on your truck and they can write the tunes to go with all the mods.
