He got brutally knocked out in that fight and he shown no competitiveness. His last win was 4 years ago against a guy that retired immediately after. He does not deserve a title shot, hes old and washed and has no business being in the cage with the GOAT, aspinall has a better run than jon jones in HW. Sergei is a more impressive win than Gane.

Jon beat a one dimensional Gane that had just been out wrestled by Francis LOL. And only wants to fight a 41 YO Stipe that hasn't fought in 3 years. So with that said, Tom's claim to be the HW champ is far greater than Jon's, only an idiot or fanboy would say otherwise.

Absolutely. Jon should be stripped, just because he's only fought once in 3 1/2 years, and appears to be ready for his last retirement fight. The way they are sidelining Aspinall to continue to "force" Jon Jones into the spotlight merely to promote Jon's status over Francis Ngannou, is completely unacceptable. This has nothing to do with Dana trying to help Jon; the UFC are trying to use Jon Jones for clout, to prevent Ngannou from getting any shine. And because of this Dana is ruining the UFC's heavyweight division, and also ruining Tom Aspinall's prime.

Jones is hoping people will get fooled into thinking it is a great matchup. He wants to retire undefeated and I think after Stipe he might do that. This is a bit like when Conor tried to fight Diego Sanchez for his comeback fight (ignored Gaethje's callout) during the height of Diego's mental issues. He thought people were so stupid that they would think him beating Diego would catapult him to a claim at a title shot with minimal risk.

Tom is going to be around for a long time, he is no where near his best and yet he is still head and shoulders above anyone else. The Aspinall of a year or two is a terrifying prospect

Now you’ve met him you know what a top fella he is. What you see is what you get with Tom. And that’s just a snippet he grows on you. And not forgetting his dad who’s a gentleman as well. Loved the interview.

That last 5 mins really spoke to me. The way he talks about socail media being a distraction, and nearly wanting to quit it all. So weird how these things are happening in my life as of recently aswell. I've started to gradually delete social media and lock in on my craft. Ive been shunning friends to focus on my craft, it feels wrong but like he says these are the things you have to be able to do if you want to be one of the best at what you do. I see some of my self in this man, and aspire to have the strength and be determinded like Tom here. Youll have that belt soon mate i can feel it!
