Jon Jones is slated to put his heavyweight championship on the line against Stipe Miocic in the headline bout of UFC 295. Inside the cage, Jon Jones is one of the smartest fighters we’ve ever seen with a fight IQ that might be unmatched. Widely regarded MMA GOAT Jon Jones will put his heavyweight title on the line against former champion Stipe Miocic. Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic is among the most anticipated fights of 2023. As per Sergei Pavlovich, it's hard to predict how the fight will play out.

The Reyes fight and 1st Gustafson fight made him look human. He dodged the bullet barely on both of those.

He also demolished Gus In their rematch (finishing him In 3 RDs), beat Santos checking his leg kicks, which exploited his knee to hyper-extended and beat him at his own game for the remainder of the fight by targeting that same knee, and the Reyes fight was a draw, and even then he could never finish Jon. Flag em as much as you like, but Bones Is the GOAT. You may not view him as undefeated, but he will forever remain UNBROKEN.

One thing I was very impressed about Jon jones and GSP was how they study their opponents, all fighters look at video tapes of their opponents, but no one studies every aspect of opponent like these two did. And yes they had close fights in their carrier when they lost the hunger, but they did come back much stronger.

I think that Johns actually gift was the fact that his legs are smaller than most people his height and with his upper body size. That made him probably 30 lbs lighter than than heavyweights but he got to keep the large majority of the heavyweight power but fighting in the 205 or less category. That is why I think that John has been such a dominate fighter but who knows once we see him fight a few times at heavyweight then we will know if I am right or wrong.

All things considered, it will be a sad day when Bones lays down the gloves. May he do it once and once only, and preserve his legacy without being sucked back in for one more fight because someone called him out. Truth is, whoever does that would never do it when Jon was in his prime. Anyone can feel tough calling out a legend who's past their time. When he leaves he should leave for good, but his killer mentality and ego may never allow him to.

This is cheesy as hell but this gave me the chills. As a longtime UFC fan and someone who has witnessed Jons entire career I couldn’t agree more. I do think he is the greatest fighter any of us will ever see in our lifetimes. It’s like he was designed to be a fighter. Joes comments about him being a conqueror are true. He’s violent and wants to hurt people in the cage. If they could just lock him in the cage and a gym it would have been best for him image. I feel bad for what could happen to him when fighting is done for him. I think he slices through Stipe and that’s no disrespect to Stipe but Jon knows this fight is his legacy and the legend that will live on past him. I think he ends it and retires in his home state after finishing Stipe. But what happens after that is anyone’s guess. Idk if he can teach what he knows some people can’t and some people can but who knows.

No doubt about it. Even GSP wasnt this dominant, Khabib and Jones are just different you just cant knockout certain minds. Tony was the same, Their mindset is unbreakable they need to be knocked into another dimension in order to fall thats why Francis excited us. No one else can in the HW div. can beat that monster he`s way too good for them. Stipe is good but Jones beat Cormier with ease. Stipe just wont be problem for him, He`s good but LHW is a different ball game no one in the HW can move like Jones although that Sergei looks promising

My opinion is when someone faces John Jones they get to their ultimate best fitness and work, their ultimate highest level of skill, and so John Jones is an only facing champions and champion level athletes. He’s facing the worlds, best champion level athletes in the world‘s most fittest opponents, that’s a simplistic way of saying it, but he is such a high level goat in all of our minds that he never has an opponent that is off or having a bad day or is out of shape everyone prepares to the maximum to face John Jones, and that’s what he gets trained against iron sharpens iron

Stipe Micoc is a great fighter, gifted, dangerous with a capital D. Someone even top fighters are often afraid to face. With good reason. But Jon Jones is not merely a great fighter. He is all that. But he is also a great innovator. His creativity in the ring, along with his fight IQ is unmatched. Sometimes beginning fights in monkey stance. Sometimes he is a ferocious striker. Others a consummate wrestler. He brings skill, power, and the indescribable X of a warrior spirit which magnifies all the skill and talent that he has. This is a battle of the titans. No doubt about it.

Stipe is on another level above those boys in Jones’s highlight reel If anyone has a chance to upset Jones he could be the one

Considering Sean defeated Izzy and Leon KO'ed Usman I won't be so quick to pick Jon Jones even though I believe he is the GOAT of MMA

I was thinking that exact same thing, if there is one cheeky clever fighter in the heavyweight division it’s Stipe.

I think that Dana is taking the Brock Lesnar approach with Jones. He's making sure that Jones doesn't get in the ring with anyone that poses a legitimate threat to him. I would love it if Stipe broke Jones jaw but let's be honest: Stipe is getting older and is probably past his prime.

So you cut up clips of Rogan talking about Brock Lesnar and pretend the topic was Jones? You would be great in main stream media 😂

Had he been clean, I would have had respect for him. But he refused to stay clean. Never will I consider him the goat.
