What pitch are you running on the prop?

12° That gives me 5500 rpm in a 50 mph climb and it just hits the redline of 5800 rpm straight and level at full throttle. I typically cruise at 5000 rpm giving me 80 mph burning 4.25 gph.

@mmatt I was thinking of going to twelve. I've got mine at eleven, and it seems a little too fine. Great acceleration though!

Hi Matt , I am a 701 builder in Costa Rica and testing Zongshen engines in my Kitfox as well as the 701 , mine are modified to edge EFI but It would be great if we can be in contact to share information
