Hi, I'm not Emma, but I can help. I hope she doesn't mind! 1. Is correct if you think Emma is a nice teacher. 2. gives a different emphasis - on 'really'. It sounds like you didn't think she was a nice teacher before, but now you do! So although they are both correct, you would use 1. in this case! Hope that helps.

Hi Emma, Although I know the difference between these two words, I learnt some new information especially when we use " well" to talk about health. We know that we can use adjectives after the verb " to be" For example You are beautiful, and beautiful is an adjective, so it is not weird to say you are good at something. The same thing with some verbs followed by adjectives for example You look beautiful or good. Emma I have a question about compound adjectives, which always confuse me especially when we talk about the active or passive meaning. for example A hard-working man, here the expression has an active meaning. A well-behaved man, here it is a passive meaning. The question is: why we do we sometimes use pp and other time present participle since the " man" is doing the action. The man is working hard The man is behaving well.
