Glad to see a giant Mothra. They could have made the antennae seperate from the body on a figure that size. They could also have more movement in the arms. That new Hiya 91 Goji looks great. 😮

Cool on the Zilla, the minus color looks good, snd the Hiya looks good but they really do need to get the first ones out but the new repaint would be nice. O.P. looks great! Voltron looks cool. Gappa is awesome looking too, wow so cool getting some of the more abscure Kaiju. Grendizer is nice and so is the Black Dinozord. Mothra looks really nice from Playmates. That Abominable Toys figure, I know it's Godzilla and maybe it's just me but in some angles the face I thought kinda resembles Kong, maybe I am wrong but when I first seen it I thought Kong-zilla. That car bot combiner robot looks pretty interesting. Cool Energized Godzilla from Playmates too 👍👍👍

I disagree with the take regarding Hiya's release model with variants. It gives consumers choice, and does not harm the secondary market by making a previous version less/more desirable. Personally, it always frustrates me when I get a figure, only for a better version to be released a year or two later.

@bigboi5545 As a company, though, it's not only a bad look for the reasons I've described, but also because they are shooting themselves in the foot by allowing folks to skip products. It's not terrible for us if we're the type to skip releases, but for them, it's an odd model that isn't sustainable long-term.

@@Ultrazilla As a consumer, I am not concerned with whether or not a company is maximizing their potential profits. Consumer-friendly practices are of far more value to me. And considering Hiya's sheer range of products and licenses, it seems to be working for them.

@bigboi5545 As someone who has followed and reviewed Hiya products long before Godzilla, they haven't done this to this volume. You as a fan of their products SHOULD care if they are maximizing their profits, because there are a ton of folks that are skipping products because they already announced the upgraded version multiple times for the same price. As I stated, this is not a sustainable or smart model. If they don't veer, Hiya runs the risk of diminishing profits, which in turn will hurt their business. Which in turn could very well mean, no more Godzilla--which has a huuuuuge licensing fee attached to it. I don't want that to happen personally.

@@Ultrazilla If a buisness needs everyone to buy everything they release in order to be successful, they weren't a sustainable buisness to begin with. And I doubt producing some figures with translucent spines or an alternate shade of yellow breaks the bank anyway. You make it sound like all-new sculpts are being widely skipped, when its just different decos (which are inherently cost-saving releases). Its also important to keep in mind that Hiya is a company in China. Very different labor costs/practices to companies in USA or Japan.

@brygei3806 See I mentioned this in my livestream, but there's the feeling out there that I'm a Hiya hater or SHMA fanboy or both, but I worked with Hiya long before any of the other "Godzilla" reviewers and actually broke the news they got the license. I think it's GREAT that there are options, and honestly, I'd rather not see those options go away. My criticism of how they're handling their rollout stems from seeing many people canceling items because they've pushed a variant that is better before giving their own products a chance to succeed. It's odd folks wouldn't want that to be talked about before it's too late for them.
