Grew up in this county sadly... What do you expect when there are no avenues for prosperity in these towns?. The officials of these towns keep them a retirement community esk profile, denying profitable businesses expansion and leaving baren open lots to rot year after year. But there is so much happening, just look at some of the police forces budgets in these small towns, and the amount of heavy drug usage is crazy. Lots of people look the other way but I'll tell you something the police force is as innocent as some of the people on this channel. One thing that I never hear mentioned related to trafficking and those involved is the demand side of the equation. Sure, we hear about the (insert substance here) crisis, epidemic, etc., but not in relation to how the population of buyers fuels the importation of substances and all that goes with it.
@sean-m6s10 сағат бұрын
And you never will. There's a whole lot of white people who buy these drugs, either coming in from suburbs or wherever really now. Without the demand, no one would be trafficking no shootouts. I'll bet 40 years ago that was a nice place. Probably a couple in their 50's that farmed it. Then they reitred and moved to town, sold the place as nobody in the family wanted to farm it, and the people that bought it just rented it, or left it sit empty until it became run down and then they let the drug dealers in to pay the taxes on a bin site. I've seen this over and over in Iowa the last 40 years.
