Should probably have added: Zebras were not used as horses because they got scared easily of bullets and the sound of artillery (in addition to the behavioral thing). They wanted them for war because they were faster than horses, but speed means nothing if they can't handle being shot at.

Yeah. :| but on a side not most same sex couples are actually healthier then the opposite sex ones, and they have a higher chance of raising their young successfully. (Granted they usually steal the eggs, or mate with females just to then steal the baby and raise it with their same sex partner) Same sex couples (I believe it was in penguins or something, not sure) had an 80% while opposite sex had around 50%

What better what to enjoy all three than by watching David Attenborough's documentaries? Back when I had my own Netflix account, I'd put one of his documentaries on in the background to fall asleep. It was always so relaxing listening to him talk about Nature and Animals. I miss being able to do that, but Netflix doesn't have a lot of his documentaries on there anymore...

The blue whale pic reminds me of meeting Big Blue in Ecco - I'm pretty sure they made a point to have his sprite proportionately accurate to ecco's, because he's an ABSOLUTE UNIT and the echolocation map screen makes you think he's going to be much smaller. @@liz.1328 yes, I know it sounds racist, but where I am, I don't find many of my own race who is like that. Most either don't like animals, don't care, or only likes pets (like dogs and/or cats). They either don't know as much about animals or don't care.

I like the way everyone seems to say pandas are terrible at everything when they’ve been around for 18 million years. For a comparison we’ve only been around as a species for 200,000 years and are already getting in trouble and hominins (the bipedal apes that predated humans) only existed for a third of the amount of time giant pandas have. For an animal that’s apparently bad at everything it sure has made it good for itself for such a long time.

I went to The Singapore SEA Aquarium. In one of their posters, there was a japanese giant crab. I did'nt realise how big that thing was until I actually saw it. It was huge. Like huge-huge.

I find it funny in Madagascar (2005) that Alex was the most feared member of the group, especially thanks to his severe hunger state, when his friends are species of animals that would be able to kill him in real life. Then again, Alex is still stronger than Marty in the games.
