She's so beautiful. She looks so much better - and so much more youthful - without all the crap they put on her for films and TV (when they did the Murphy Brown reboot. She looks younger now!)

Yes absolutely the Toledo Art Museum is fantastic - fully endowed and great collection - arguably better than many larger cities (looking at you, Louisville), and the NW Ohio region itself is an area where arts is well supported and quite accessible to everyone

I was so thrilled to come across this video. I'm a big fan of NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me and Boston Legal. I come from the home of Frank McCourt and am proud to say that I spent two days as an extra on the film as it was being made in my home town. I also had the opportunity of attending the Special Gala Showing in Limerick. Continue the good work both of you. All the best from Limerick Fergus

Child of older parents and felt the separation from peers at a very young age. Recolonizing in HS that my closet connections were children and elderly. I’ve always remembered my Mother turning 40 and her seeming very happy. I asked what was great about it, already aware of social “over the hill” commentary. She said, “Because, I don’t care what anyone thinks of me anymore.” As friends turned 21, 25, 30 - I was excited to wait and turn 40.

Good interviewers are rare. It’s a specialized skill-an art, really-that very few possess. David Susskind was a great interviewer. Dick Cavett, in his earlier days, was excellent. Ira Glass is very good.

I was so not surprised when Ms. Bergen sneeringly added “…and I can’t say I’m sorry” after saying that she had never met Colonel Sanders. And I _loved_ that Mo proceeded to describe what a truly remarkable, admirable man Sanders was. (Something about that tells me that Her Nibs probably hadn’t read the book.) Bergen is the embodiment of the entitled “limousine liberal” who has had everything handed to her on a platter her entire life. A snob to the very end.
@marytheresejacksonlutz25334 ай бұрын
Yup! She comes across as a true snob and not a very good interviewer. On the other hand Mo rocks!
@31Alden4 ай бұрын
Candice Bergen is a product of her environment and upbringing. Nothing more. Nothing less. So many people are prickly about a woman with class, beauty and breeding.
@unowen-nh9ov5 күн бұрын
Thrown out of college & working ever since, some snob, won't even retire.

Interviewers always try to get Candice to talk about the people she has met. It’s easier for her to say she didn’t meet them so she doesn’t have to tell secrets . She’s one of the very few now that lived in a time where if she passes on now will go to the grave with many secrets. She won’t talk about so much. For example I’d love to ask her” Did you think Of Manson group when your friend Sharon Tate was taken from all of us before the cops found him. After all she left quickly from 1150 Cielo when her husband Terry Melcher moved from this address and they left to get away from Charlie - why didn’t they warn Sharon . She had to have known it was Manson when they found out about the incident.
